i sniff at a pile of trash. "and what is this!?" i dig in the trash. a chicken leg is my reward. my mouth waters as i pull it out gently. "and it is all mine." i lay down and begin to chop on the leg intently.

Other: When the Goldpack had formed, Aster found a baby puffador left sleeping in the mud. She looked to only be about a year old, (human years) and Aster didn't want the poor baby to suffer. Aster asked if anyone knew who the parents were to the young one, but it seemed that the baby was abandoned by them. Aster kept the baby and also named her Callie, and raised her as if she was her own. When Hibiscus was six, (human years) Aster told her she wasn't her birth mother.

an uninterrupted meal! first ever. no one can work on an empty stomach, let alone think. i just hope that no one sees me. lots of dogs would want this prize, and many were to weak to find it. i try to push that out ofmy mind as i eat.

(Thought I'd give you someone to talk to.) Ace was looking around carefully, with his next meal (a rabbit) in his mouth. Hoping no one would see him for they might take it. He watched behind himself are he rounded a pile of garbage. He smacked into something, another lupora (Are we still calling them those or are they dogs now?) Great, he thought to himself just great! he'll probably want it now.

i jump up, leaving the chicken leg. "hey!" i say in a shaking voice.

Ace was surprised the other luproa hadn't taking away the rabbit right away, "Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."

I quickly got annoyed at the fact that I just passed the same tree for the fifth time, I know since I marked it! Why can't forests have street signs? It'll be easier to navigate for sure. I looked up and barely saw the sun under the thick leafy foliage of the trees. My paws for the first time in forever felt softness from the loamy soil. And the smell of sweetness and fresh rain was wafted to my nose. "Talk about culture shock " I mumbled. I escaped that in itself is a blessing but....."HOW IN THE BARK DID I END UP HERE!!" I howled. " Maybe I needed to take a left to that Boulder" I thought as a trotted towards the big mossy rock.

"it is fine." i too was suprised i still had the chicken leg. "would you like to sit and have this meal with me? eating is better when you have someone to eat with."

Ace rolled his shoulders, "Sure" Maybe we can even watch each other's backs while we eat. Ace dropped his rabbit and sat down next to the lupora he ran into. Ace was upset with eating the rabbit while his eating buddy ate a pathetic chicken bone. "If you want you could have some of this." He said ripping it in half and passing the other half to the other lupora. He took his first bite, too hungry to think of manners. He swallowed and remembered them, "My name's Ace by the way."

Starfall was out looking for a good meal of berries when she heard loud barking. She ran a little to find out what it was. She stopped before rounding a tree, keeping in the shadows to keep from being seen. She saw a lupora angrily walking to a boulder. Wonder what's got his fur ruffled. She decided to ask him. She walked up to him and cleared her throat so he would know she was there and spoke, "May I help you find anything?"

" i am Darkstrom." i stand and return to the trash. i find another chicken leg. "here." i give it to him. "how long have you been here?"
