"Well, there's been somethin' nabbin' ma sheep," the farmer says, eyeing the blobs with the same distrust that Cande is using towards his glaive. "Somethin' quick n blue. It's 'ready gotten six. We won't have nothin' for ourselves, much less the market if it keep goin'."
Noting her teammates irritation, Averry is quick to assure the farmer. "We'll keep watch for anything that falls under that description, sir."
He snorts in obvious disbelief, says, "If you do keep an eye out, and you find somethin', then I'll give you a few coppers." Clearly, this man has a low opinion of adventurers.
Never mind that though, because the farmer is leaving and Averry tilts her head towards at the other who's hostilely watching his departure. "How would you feel, doing a little investigation?"

(I will say that Cande can't actually tank very well if a) her opponents know what she does and b) against AoE attacks :P)
She shrugged. "Screw it, why not? It's low-level stuff, we'd need to do this eventually."
(also gives me an excuse to develop more spells kekw)

(Haah, no worries either way. Averry is freaking out, but having a spicy class is always a lot fo fun to write. I'm waiting to see those spells :eyes:
Also feel free to introduce whatever you want during the mission!)
Averry nods, and wonders where they should begin for clues. The farmer doesn't seem to know much, given that he mistook the blobs for the sheep-eater. "Exploring is good start then," she says.
The woman readjusts the straps of her pack, and she glances around for a sign of a structure that could hide a monster. There's holes similar to that of a rabbit's only much larger towards their 5 o'clock and a river at their 9.

(that's fair; there's also a lore bit with her that I wanna try out that might get a bit dark :P)
Cande was already at the hole, poking it with a stick while crouching. "Do you think we could take a boss?" she asked, as if seriously considering trying it. Knowing this, the blobs protested against that, one even bouncing rather angrily and spewing out some weird language that seemed rather vulgar. She wasn't deterred. In the slightest.

(I mean, I'm all for it! Dark is fun, and it gives a lot of meaning to a character. Averry deciding to dedicate her life to a game because she searching for someone isn't all too healthy either ^^;)
Emerett looks at the profanity-spewing blob with curious eyes, and comments, "I'm surprised they have voices for monsters, especially basic enemies," even as she follows Cande over to the dens, crouched a little behind her.
She's yet to unlock her affinities, so she can't help with the darkness though spellcasting, but considering how the other has defeated a wyvern, it should be easy enough to lure the predator out. If it's here of course.
"Did the Wyvern drop any meat?" she asks.
