Bradyn comes upon a house. He isn't quite sure what to make of it. He doesn't approach it, wary. He crouches in a nearby bush, watching the house.

Artemis hums more and and got the rabbit stew cooking in the pot. He grabs his book again and went on the porch to read.

He watched the elf walk onto their porch and narrowed his eyes. What were they doing? Reading? Is that a thing elves usually do? What a waste of time. What could possibly be that interesting, anyway? He shook his head, snapping out of it. After confirming the elf had no visible weapons, he stood and strode towards the elf.

He soon regretted this decision, however. He hadn't thought of what to say. My mother is dying? Too pathetic. I need your help? Too desperate. So, he stood there, staring at the elf.

Artemis paused in his reading and looks up. He raised an eyebrow at the child and says, "Why is a human child in elf territory? You look to young to be out here by yourself, "

Artemis was cautious of the human child. Yes the human may look to be in his 20's but to Artemis he is but a child in his mind.

The first thing out of Bradyn's mouth was, "I'm not a child." At this point, he completely forgot all about what he was here for, if only for a moment. "Just because you elves are unnatural doesn't mean we are. I am an adult, thank you." He, being very mature, folded his arms over his chest.

Artemis chuckles and says, "Sure child. But even the other elves are childern to me. Besides you won't be in the Nydirawen country without a purpose, and its not to start a war. "

Set the book down on to his lap and looks at him amused.

"How do you know that?" Bradyn demanded. How could he know that? Just because he didn't have any weapons on him (wasn't purposeful, he had just been in a rush) didn't mean he couldn't start a war without them.

Artemis chuckles slightly and says, "First of all you came to find me andnot the cities. Since elves would shoot you on the spot. Second human childern has went to find me. So I could help them. But half of them are greedy. "

Artemis smiled at him and looked him in the eyes.
