"Oh, so you're sending me in there first?" He asked, leaning against the door. "In case you can't see," he continued, "I don't even have a flashlight or anything."

She grabbed a wet wipe. Wiped the flashlight down and popped it into his hand and smiled cheekily.

"Wha-?" He sounded offended. "What was that all about?" He asked, taking the flashlight. "You worried about cooties or something?"

I was holding it in my mouth. I could regerm it... She opened her mouth slowly and melodramatically, with a silly face like she was going to drool on the flashlight.

"Ew, no. Now I'm the one worried about cooties." He wiped the already-sanitized flashlight off on his shirt. "I'm going to see if any of the other entrances are any easier to get into than this one. Don't get possessed by a ghost."

She chuckled and started working at the vines again.

He made it so the flashlight illuminated his way, and he began to walk around the perimeter of the castle. He had the light shine on the castle, too, in case there were any entrances that he could possibly go through.

Myles found a partly open door. He was quite suspicious of it because it was open. He wedged his way in, as the door wouldn't open any farther. He entered the castle, shining his light around, wide-eyed. So far, it seemed like a regular run-down castle. He continued into the castle, cautiously looking for a staircase.

Roxy was trying to pull out some reedy weeds blocking the door, when she felt the ground shake. She rushed back away from the castle, looking at the cliff side and the treeline for the source of the noise. A plume of dust was rising into the air from the far side of the castle. She hissed half an explitive and ran in the direction she'd seen Myles leave.
"Myles!?" She called.
