The others began to kneel, their hands clasped together in a praying position.

'I should probably copy them.' Vex thought.

Electa thought the same, kneeling

He carefully knelt besides her, shakily pushing his glasses up a little before clasping his hands.

There was a shifting a few people down from them--a puzzled, sideways look. And then a quick intake of breath. "Oh, blessed angels," They could hear Beth whisper. "That's Electa!"

There was a shuffling noise as the people nearby glanced at her and then at Electa. Electa knelt rigidly, looking straight ahead.

Vexins' heart started pounding nervously. 'Oh no.' He thought, becoming worried.

"That's Electa," said Beth, louder. Her voice rose to a panicked shout; it was picked up by the sound system. "Somebody, do something! Thats Electa! She's here, she's here! Somebody stop her!"

And suddenly there was a faint swirling in the air, like water stirred gently with a hand. The gate was opening.

Vexin looked at how the air swirled, then glanced to Electa. He wondered if he probably should have thought of this. 'Maybe she would've been unnoticed if I had thought of letting her wear my glasses.'

Vexin needed to channel some of his energy to the angelica and then throw the stone into the gate.

"It's all right! Everybody stay back--keep away from the barrier. The angels are handling this!" The gate's ripples were growing stronger. Any moment and it would burst wide open.

He sat back, heart racing as he pulled the stone out with shaking hands. He didn't know how to channel energy.
