Myra nodded, kneeled, and closed her eyes.

Myra suddenly felt a pair of smooth, soft hands on the sides of her head. Then a powerful mind touched hers. It found the fears, and almost instantly destroyed them.

The fears that werent destroyed hid immediately. To a mortal it would have been almost impossible to find, but to a goddess it would have to actually take some effort.

And to the goddess of the mind, it was trivial. She quickly rooted out the fears, and destroyed them.

As she was destroying them, the goddess felt a fear in infancy nearby. And it was a surprising one.

Fear of losing all Myra loves and cares about. Especially Shara.

It wasnt very bad or anything. Just like a common worry, but a bit worse. That worry might prove to be useful. Maybe.

The goddess locked it down so it couldn't grow further. Then she rebuilt a few fears that help keep one alive, but only to healthy levels. Then she locked them down.

The fears now understood theyre locked down, and simply adapted quickly to their new roles.

"Now go, return to your mate. Serve your goddess," the goddess said, withdrawing from Myra's mind.

Myra nodded, and asked, *if I may. Why are you helping me? Zaelia I understand. Im her chosen. But why did you help me?*
