Jason was shaking,white in his freckles. "Those shadow things we're fighting. They feed off your fears,suck the life out of you but they used to keep our world safe.Safe so that as long as humans fear our kind and think us terrors,we won't fade.Love and belief and hope in us does us no good,and so we rely on human fear and that shall always stay. But...its getting harder because they have broken from their normal position in the system,if they continue like this they will also fade as well as our world.Or,if Shade is successful,our world will meld with the humans and the two worlds will be thrown into chaos." He voice was soft and almost wavering,listening close enough one would hear his voice shuttering as his body refused to. He watched the sky,taking in scents carefully to make sure they where gone. "Why are they on our turf? They never come to enemy turf." he murmured.

Ash thought that over, trying to figure out how to help

Soon once they had gone Jason stood and Air Current did as well. "Eastern exit." He said and Air Current nodded and lifted again,careful through the trees. "I'm going to see if I can check what they're scouting,Ash.If you need anything,Snowball or Toxin are always around the place,both will make sure no one snaps at you." he said,then started running toward the thicker part of the grove,the direction those things had gone.

Air Current huffed and,in a way,tried to offer him to get on. They where supposed to take him back to the castle,that's why Jason had said the way for Air Current to go into the castle. "Rrrr~!"

"I don't want to leave Jason alone," he told Air Current

They stamped a talon to the ground,shaking their head on their slender neck. "*Icey huff*"

Jason ran along through the brush,jumping bushes and swinging above sharp thistles by smooth branches with ease. He was quickly tracking that horrid scent of those creatures,mouth open slightly to keep track of it as he dodged around and made a few sharp turns from where they had turned.

"Will he meet us there?"

Air Current thought,or seemed to think,for a moment. Then shook their head and,despite not having hind legs,reared up and kicked their front talons like a horse would have. They had webbed claws but not gills,fangs but no other teeth,similar to a snake of sorts and their neck sure was smooth like a snakes body. "Rrrrr~."

Jason was almost at the eastern edge and he skidded to a halt once the trail ended. He sniffed and found that it went upward,and so,being careful for his fabric binds,he began climbing since he couldn't fly through the foolage over head. He leaped up and grabbed a branch and swung his body up. He landed on it nicely and then began going up,ignoring the little mirror fruit around him. The scent grew stronger the farther he climbed up...something wasn't right and he didn't realize it yet.So unlike him though.Something was on his mind.
