"You realized you actually said that, right? You actually said that. Out loud." She squeezed Zach's hand harder as she watched the lion were beast.

The werebeast growls, enjoying your fear. Azrail finishes the braid.
"Ta-da!" He says, backing up to admire his handie work.

She smiled and growled back. "Good job Azrail!" "I'm not scared of you." she used her telepathy to try to scare the lion and watched for the werebeast's reaction.

The were beast jumps in surprise, scrambling backwards. Azrail looks at the lion in confusion. "There there, kitty. There's no need to be afraid." He says, heading to the big cat and petting it gently.

She suppressed her laughter and pinched herself to stop it. "He didn't know what hit him!"

Azrail was trying to comfort the big cat when there was a knock at the door. Azrail went to get it, but the snake werebeast pulls him back.
"Let Leo get it." The snake man says, pulling his 'pet' into a protective hug. The lion growls and pads to the door, taking the handle in its mouth and opening it. Outside the door is a mob of angry villagers.
"Give Robert his house back!" One shouts. The others outside raise their voices to agree.
"Be gone." The lion growls.
" Never! Not until justice has been served. " the crowd yells.

She glanced at Zach. "I guess you get your save from others anyway." She closed her eyes and it looked like she was meditating.

Zach nods, but stops as he doesn't want to end up jinxing them again.
The snake werebeast hisses in annoyance. "You guys take care of them. I will be in my room with my pet." He says, slithering to the room over and shutting the door, dragging Azrail after him.
The lion roars a challenge, which is met by fearfilled silence. The lion jumps into the crowd, knocking down people this way and that. Three other werebeast joins the lion in attacking the villagers. while they were occupied, the daughter slips back into the house.
"Hullo?" She calls hesitantly, trying to take in everything at once. The were beasts were occupied outside, though snakeman was in his room with Azrail, and you and Zach were alone with the daughter. She smiles when she sees you. "I thought I saw captives earlier. Come on, you can escape now."

"Zach, go. I have to go save Azrail too. I promised to keep him safe, and I intend to keep it." She mentally prepared herself to go into the room.

" I'm not sure we have time. " The young woman says. Zach sighs and exits the house, following your instructuon.
The snakeman and Azrail were having a staring contest. Azrail blinks first. "No fair! You have a second eye lid. That should count as blinking." Azrail huffs as the snakeman chuckles.
"Teach me another one of your funny games." The snake man urges. Azrail shrugs.
"I'm all out of two player games." He admits. The snakeman smiles and advances.
" I know one two can play. " The snakeman hisses.
"Why didn't you tell me? I'm always open to learning new games." Azrail chirps. The snakeman grins and pins Azrail to the floor.
"Really now? This will be fun." the snake man chuckles.
