Akari chuckled. "Don't worry, Arashi will check every now and then to make sure we're going in the right direction." She said, glancing at her friend. Arashi smilied and nodded, turning to Sakura.
"Yeah, and this is the right direction." He said, nodding in the direction the group was currently heading to.
In front of them, Amaya and Yukio walked quietly, glancing back every now and then. Arashi would tell them if they were heading in the right direction - they were only told twice, it appeared they knew the way rather well for some reason - while Akari would lag behind him, near Sakura and Caldwell.
"Hey, Sakura, what made you decide to join this group?" Akari asked, looking at Sakura out of the corner of her eyes.

Shade was slumped against a tree, her body limp as If she were dead. She'd buried Harry - which wasn't particularly pleasant - and cleaned up as best as she could. She had no idea what to do. She thought of Dmitri - how were they supposed to monitor Dmitri's condition without Harry? This day was getting better and better.

(b-b-b-but I liked Harry :(... more than Dmitri anyway. Very sad) ... anyway, I thought Rusalka should come back for a bit, I really love RPing her even though she's a cow!

Sakura felt her muscles tense. She hated personal questions like that. She resisted the urge to snap at Akari, knowing that she didn't mean any harm from it. Taking a deep breath in, she tried relaxing. "Um, I suppose you could say that I have a personal grudge against the Dark Gang," she replied, thinking of her brother. "That and I just left school. There was nothing else really to do for a shifter like me." She stared at the below her as she went on, not wanting to meet Akari's eyes. "How about you? You don't really seem like someone who would join this out of the blue?"

"Then why did you show that girl your shift. I thought that was our little secret," Rusalka responded without missing a beat. Caldwell was seriously regretting leaving the group by himself. Rusalka cocked her head at him, her massive eyes looking so innocent. But Caldwell knew better. He knew that she was terribly deranged. "I don't fight for either side," was all that he replied, hedging his bets. She smiled at him, coming closer to him and invading his personal space. "Prove it."
"How am I supposed to do that?" he asked exasperatedly. This couldn't be good. "Give me information. I want to know about everyone in your group. I want to know your next movements. I want to know everyone's health status. I want to know everything." Caldwell was so close to freezing her where she stood, but she could easily overpower him. He wondered just how much life shifting she had done in the past year. "I can't do that." She slowly placed her hand on his face, surprisingly warm. He sometimes forgot that Rusalka was human too. "Oh but Caldwell, you have no choice if you want them alive."
"Are you kidding?" His temper got the better of him and she finally got the reaction she wanted. "They'll be slaughtered if I tell you that." Calmly she whispered "At least they'll have a chance." She stepped away from him, her smirk wide. "I'll be watching you baby." Caldwell felt a massive shiver crawl down his spines as she disappeared back into the shadows.

Akari noticed Sakura's slight tensing, and became slightly weary, but dropped her guard again when Sakura spoke to her. Chuckling, she replied. "I can't let my friend go on his own. What sort of friend would that make me, letting him come on this dangerous journey on his own?"
Arashi overheard, and joined the conversation. "Well... I kind of told her...? And she just decided to come along."
With a snort, Akari shot back, "You do know trying to face the dark gang on your own, is suicidal, right?"
Arashi gave a small laughed, and rubbed his neck sheepishly. Akari rolled her eyes and patted his head, ruffling his hair. Glancing in front, she noticed that Amaya and Yukio were walking faster than them, and were slowly getting further from the three. Then, Arashi asked. "Where's Caldwell?"

"Ok. Now that you're in the water, just try to let yourself float. Again, don't worry, the water will support you." Velvet explained, pointing her finger at the water so that it would support Avery. "When you're floating, try to do long strokes in front of you with your arms, like so." Demonstrating, she jumped in the water and did freestyle around Avery. "Once you have that, kick out with your legs to help you swim faster while stroking with your arms." Realization dawned on her, and with a flick of her wrist and some muttering under her breath, the water temperature warmed to about 75 degrees, perfect swimming temperature. "If you want it warmer Avery, just ask and I'll change it."

Sakura smiled at the pair, slightly jealous that she had never taken the chance to create a friendship like the one that they clearly had. She supposed that it was to no one's fault but her own. "I'm sure he's off somewhere eating carrots or something," she replied, s******ing at her own joke then realising how sad she was because no one else got it. "Speak of the devil," she added upon seeing Caldwell stroll out of the bushes. He was in no hurry to catch up with them all as usual. But Sakura noticed that he was madly pawing at his scarf, a sure sign that he was nervous. She raised her eyebrow at him, but all he said was " I lost my breath." Sakura shook her head, guessing that he wasn't going to say anything in front of everyone. "Okay, whatever."
Caldwell didn't even flinch at Sakura's subtle interrogation. He was used to this. But his mind was in chaos, calculating everything that could happen. 'What if' seemed to circle his mind a million times. Sakura placed a hand on his shoulder, making him leap. She looked at him for a few seconds then quickly left him. Whatever that meant. he knew he was going to have to face her later.
