I quickly threaded the string through the loops. I adjusted the threetails so that they'd be in the back. I moved in front of him to check.

"You look... cute in those ears and tails," I said, avoiding his question. "Do you want to check yourself out before we go?"

I blushed. "I uh n-no i'm fine." I said unsure of how to take the compliment.

I noticed his blush. "I didn't mean to embarrass you," I said. I decided to change the topic. "I have to go grocery shopping. I wanted you disguised because, even if I came up with a plausible excuse, monsters would go out of their way to make you miserable. I have to shapeshift to convice monsters to leave me alone. Even then, monsters don't like humans and human-looking monsters. That's why they don't like me. You should be fine though, with your ears and tails. Monsters tend to leave multi-tailed beings alone, whether human-looking or not."

I pick up my wallet from the bedside table. "Even though we been separated since my... their doing into a separate universe, they still hold a grude against humans. You'd probably still hold a grude against rabbits that drove you out of your home and life. Anyhow, let's getting going. I'm not a fan of the sun, and we only have a couple of hours before it comes up." Grabbing my keys, I started to walk to the front door.

I poked her tail again, playing with her. I stuck my tongue out at her and draped the rainbow scarf over her eyes, luaghing.

"Okay." I said. "So why do they leave multi-tailed creatures alone?" I asked looking up at him with interested and slightly confused eyes. "I like rabbits." I mumbled. "Why do you need a seperate universe?" I asked.

I grinned and poked her cheek taking the scarf off my eyes. "No fair." I playfully pouted. "You don't have a pokeable tail."

"I'm invincible," I teased poking her tail again.

I stuck out my tounge, poked her cheek again, and bopped her nose with my tail. I danced out of her way before she could poke me again. "Too slow." I teased.

"Most multi-tailed monsters have terrible tempers and fire magic. It took a while for monsters to finally learn that multi-tailed monsters burn you." I said. "And the rabbit thing was just the closest thing I could get to humans chasing us out. That's why we're separate: Humans chased us here."

"Now, then, two questions. One, do you like all animals? And two, are you coming, or what?" I smiled.

"I like most animals." I told him. "I don't like spiders or ducks." I said blushing. "Yeah I'm coming." I told him.
"So humans are like prey?" I ask thinking probably too much into the bunny analogy.
