Val frowned, "Maybe I'll get a better answer from the other hedgehog." she thought silently.

Shadow flicked an ear. "You're planning something..." He observed.

Holter leaned up against a tree.

Val continued walking, "No, I'm just wondering what other food is on the island."

"Any tropical friut you can name, and then some." Shadow replied.

Val nodded, soon they came to where the Master Emerald was, Val walked up to the jewel, she sat down in front of a pillar and leaned against it.

Holter had caught up by the time they arrived. "THERE. ARE. BANANAS." He announced. Shadow rolled his reddish eyes. "Yes. There are." He looked at Val. "You both are welcome to stay here, but hands off the Emerald. I will know if you touch it," He said before skating off.

Holter looked at Val. "I was right. They are the same echidna." He said with a frown. "Do you think he might've...?"

Val shrugged, "Either way, I'm gonna find out."

Holter frowned. "Find out what? Wether a guy we don't even know (and probably functionally excinct to begin with) is dead or alive?" He asked.

"Are you seriously gonna rub proverbial salt in Sonic's proverbial wound by asking more questions? He obviously isn't going to talk, and I think we're lucky Shadow told us as much as he did. What more do you want to know?"

Holter stopped abruptly, then sighed. "Sorry. I got carried away. But really, what haven't they told you that you still want to know?"

(I honestly have nothing else right now for what happened to Knux; for now, thats the best you're gonna get.)

Val just looked at Holt, "If I ask Sonic he may crack and tell us something neither hedgehog has said."

(When is Tails gonna come in?)

(I don't really wanna take up another charather right now. I want to build up Ghost's and Holter's personalities a bit more first.)
