Wait till they meet my father, Leo mused to himself and in a low mumble-y whisper under his breath.

"Well I need to go check on Snake." Sage said. She went to go see him.

Ember and Leo continued to chat about boring nonsense, thy soon disappeared into the main hatchling den.

Sage laid down near Snake to watch over him. She smiled weakly at him. His wound was still bleed and the leaves needed to be replaced.

Leo strolled out of the hatchling den yawning, he stumbled over to Snake and nudged the bloody leaves of his wounds. He nudged some extra mint leaves towards Sage and yawned again. He silently stumbled off into the hatchling den.

Sage put the mint on the wound carefully. She saw him wince slightly but believed that he was asleep.

Leo shut his eyes to welcoming sleep, so did Ember who was about 2 nests down the row.

Sage tried to sleep but she couldn't

Leo peacefully slept with no dreams at all. His breathing was even and steady while Ember's was fast and shallow with a nightmare (or an evening-mare?).

Snake was in such deep sleep from the cloud berries. But he could faintly feel Sage's pelt brushing his. He was afraid that it was someone who would kill him but he couldn't move.
