Sofie blushed a little. "Honestly, I'malwayshungry." She said rubbing the back of her neck.

"Do you want to go get cookies now?" Kane looked around the mall at all the shops. (My brain is dead)

Sofie smiled walking over to the stand. "Twoofthoseplease." She said putting money on the counter after pointing at the white chocolate, macadamia cookies.

(It's all good. I'm a little brain dead too. We had a bad hail storm last night and it broke all four windshields on our property. >.<)

Kane smiled. He walked her to a table and pulled out her chair. "For the lady."

Sofie smiled sitting down. "So, Kanewhatwasyourlifebeforethepowers?" She asked passing him on le of the large cookies

"Well, I guess I can start out with school.." Kane paused taking a bite of the cookie,"I was that one that no one wanted to be friends with in elementary. I only had two friends, Lucas and Amanda. We grew up together, until in high school, Lucas and Amanda started dating, and had no time for me. I had a crush on Amanda, so it broke my heart to see them together." Kane paused, looking at the sun-roof above them. He looked at Sofie and did a half-smile and continued. "I decided to try out for the football team, and got on as a quarterback. I became friends with these 5 dudes, Jaxon, Caden, Noah, Mason, and Liam. We did everything together. Right after we finished high school, I got my powers..."Kane's eyes were watering as he took another bite of his cookie,"We all got into a fight if I could stay in the group or not... Noah and Caden called me a freak... They started to cuss us all out, and then they left. They just left us standing there. Liam, Jaxon, Mason and I were speechless. The 3 of them still talk to me, but I talk to Jaxon the most. He has powers to."

Sofie listened carefully forgetting to eat her cookie. Her eyes watered a little before sshe cleared her throat blinking them away. "Well, I'mprettygoodatfixingthings... MaybeIcanfixyourheart." She said putting her palm on his cheek smiling lopsidedly and a little sadly. Andmaybeyoucanfixmine... She added to herself in her thoughts.

"Yeah... okay..." Kane mummered. (My brain UGHHH)

Sofie sighed. a little sitting back in her chair playing with her cookie. Whycan'tyousaysomethingright? She thought looking down her hair hiding her face. "So, whatwouldyouliketodonext?" She asked glancing at the time. It was one forty.

"Surprise?" Kane got up from his seat finishing his cookie. He picked up Sofie like a baby and started walking towards the exit.
