It does lol, I had to change his mother's nationality to get it in, but seeing that blue eyes are dominant he still couldn't have full green eyes. But I love them the way they are so yeah all turned out :D

Lol she would do that. Niamh is not really a "money" person. She grew up in poverty, She has a few nice outfits, but for the most part she keeps her old holey gear *unless its impossible to wear*. Plus it makes it easier to hide and bring out her wings.

Its more common in their country, their nationality is dominant blue eyes. Their skin colour is affected the same way. The darker skinned they get the more their eyes turn to a hazel colour.

Cian is mixed race which is why he has such olive skin and blue eyes.

Yep Both Seb and Niamh are angels, Niam is a mermaid, and can change her lower half into a tail when in contact with water (actually one of her secrets is that she never learned to control this change and relies on an amulet to stop the change, if she didn't wear it and it rained she would change, poor thing) and her wings are a blue-gray and the feathers look a bit fluid (still being feathered tho). Seb is a pure wing, White feathered, almost clear.

That probably comes from the fact when my family migrated to Australia we don't have that much money after converting.
For the hiding and taking out wings, I am guessing they either have clothing that have slits for wings? (And maybe they cut those themselves and may not look as pretty)

Yep thats exactly it. they either wear backless items or have slits in the their shirts. Their actual wings *shoot I don't really know the word.. absorb sounds weird.. but its the closest..* into these 'scars' on their shoulder blades.

Lol I explained that poorly, she cannot have wings at the same as she has her tail. Yes most merpeople can control when they transform the tail. Niamh had a bad experience when she was little which blocks her from learning to control it. But at least she has the pendant, taking showers would be difficult if she didn't (think of it like that H2o (ahh mermaid program) that used to be on. Pure wings are far stronger than they sound, They are faster than the other species, and I am still working on them aha. But Sebastian can control plants which his species cannot do, but thats going into [spoiler] zone. And yeah Seb is pathetic aha

not really, but they are not supposed to be super powerful, Pure wings are the life giving angels, often working in medicine.

Its why he loves gardening so much, its more a nurture power, and they obey him, but He likes to garden like a normal person, *grows the prettiest flowers in the region.

Oh, so being healers, they are not suited for combat?

When it comes to my OCs, being powerful is subjective and sometimes it meant the raw power (eg abcd is more powerful because it has efgh more mana/vigor/energy/magic than ijkl) or physical power, or the damage than can be done(which is significantly determined by ability). I still need to work on them a bit, but out of them all (the Mary Sues and Gary Stus of the universe), the four most 'powerful' are:
A dodging skullbird with high magical attack power.
A tanking goldfish high regeneration. Maybe also a bit of a tactician?
Something with good stealth.

(I think I went off topic. XD So...you can be a healer and be strong in the way that you have tons of mana/etc to spare or the ability is very efficient. Or among the healers, you can heal the most.) XD

I guess this is one of the ways 'cheating' isn't as great. Growing them like a normal person just makes it all the more sweeter and more worthwhile. Plus you also feel like you are putting in more effort if you are getting your hands dirty. XD

So guess what I am watching, That stupid and offensive program about the earth quake. Well at least it got one thing right, it started with the september earth quake not the feb earth quake. but the lights are still on in the streets.. we had a citywide black out, electricity didn't come back on untill 7am for us in our area, two days later the eastern suburbs were still in the dark...

...summary: They can also regenerate, parts that are eaten are slow to regenerate. Aiming for the eyes are the most popular spot because it is nearly always an insta-win after that.

The wall of text (spoilered due to the wall-like-ness):
The descendents of Sues also have some regenerating abilities that are a pain for each other, so eating each other's body parts during battle are quite common.

There are two types of regeneration: fast and slow.
Fast is sort of like re-attaching body parts, slow is actually growing them back which is pretty taxing and very slow in comparison. (Actually not so taxing for the Sues themselves (woo-hoo to extremely long fights, then again, it is not like they have much else to do there) but for their kids, and their kids' kids, yes.)

There is something like a [Field] of some sort they possess. The field is under their influence so anything magical are partially negated (amount depends on the type of magic and magical resistance of the Sues and their descendents.) (This also means that they are fairly resistant to most magic and:
pros: Pretty much cannot be harmed by anyone other than themselves. (Curses, magical attacks, barriers)
cons: Pretty much nothing can be applied on them by anyone other than themselves. (Healing, some stealth, teleportation, transformation/disguise)
In this case, fast regeneration is also affected by the field, so if say the eyeballs are eaten, it will either take much more energy or the individual are unable to fast-regenerate completely. Holding them sort of works (the field is usually quite small), or keeping it in their mouth, but it is more of a hassle.
And thus that is how I created a partially cannabilizing species. :D *
