And she must have known it too because after a moment of it resting on him after he knew he had felt it she released her gaze from him,calmly smiling up at their father who stood and stretched. "We can't stay here for to much longer my child." He said and lent a hand out to help Jillian stand,the young human girl smiling and taking the help up. "May we stay longer? They're adorable together! I like to see them like this." She begged the old king but he sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry my love,it's a strain on our souls,especially your human soul,to stay on The First Plane for too long. And you might have to go back to The Lost Plane if we can't sustain you in The Secondary Plane." She seemed to sadden but understood. Lavender and Clementine came over and hugged their father.

Ash wondered why. Wouldn't they be able to see each other?

Yes,if they could stay together that is.The Second Plane was as vast as space and time,manythings to do and see but very little direction or route. They where lucky to all be able to gather here on the First Plane when they could. Last year they hadn't been able to. Jason looked to them with sad eyes and held onto Ash,knowing he wouldn't go away with them but automatically held firmly because he didn't want to lose someone to hold onto.

Ash held him back just as tightly

They came over and wrapped into a hug around the two boys,Lavender giving Ash a look as if to say 'you better take care of my precious little brother' and Clementine clung to Jason firmly. Jillian held to the two boys kindly but more so to Jason lovingly. The father wrapped them all in his wings,holding them protectively. He looked so much like Flasher,black hair and majestic features and skin slightly darker than Jason's. Jason seemed so much more like his mother,both of them very good looking.

Ash made a promise in his eyes to do his best

She saw it and nodded,eyes saying thank you. Soon their silhouette started to turn transparent the to sparkles.Jason shook and curled farther into Ash. The father handed back Crysta,Jason carefully holding her between Ash and himself in the hug as his eyes looked up at his fading father. Jasper smiled kindly and gently stroked Jason's cheek. "My sweet child...you'll be fine,you'll do great things.I know you will." Something he said every year,and Jason closed his eyes and leaned his head on his fathers hand as he faded. "I'm sorry." he whispered and his father shook his head. "Don't ever say that."

"He's right. You have nothing to apologize for."

Jason shut his eyes tighter. He curled into Ash as his father smiled sadly for once at his dear boy and then they where gone,just as quickly as they had come,they where gone.

Ash continued to hold Jason, rocking him and Crysta ever so slightly.
