"Mhm," she replied, going back to resting her head on his shoulder

He kept flying at a pretty fast pace, looking around at the ground for the church.

Finding the cathedral was easy--there were huge signs every mile or so.

He followed those, not needing to take too much time to read them to know what they where about.

Another mile and there was the cathedral below them at last, its huge domed roof glinting golden in the late-afternoon sun. They weren't going to get in through the front doors. There were tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of people outside the building: a dark, solid carpet of humanity that covered every inch of the cathedral's steps, its lawn, the parking lot. People were sitting up on their cars, watching and waiting.

He was panting a bit. "Darn it. How ya' think we gunna get in there?" he asked Electa swooping to the side to stay out of view of anyone.

"There has to be a rear entrance." They could see a service road leading to the back of the cathedral; the door would probably be there.

On their left was a large field that ran alongside the church complex, solid with parked cars, with a space for access at the center. The field looked like it would lead to the road, if they were lucky.

He hovered down toward the field, trying to use the cars to stay out of view. "Let's hope so."

There was a grey door set in the back of the building

He gently landed by it and set Electa down. He took a moment to catch his breath.
