Spotting the IceWings at the far side of the Prey Center, I quickly camoflouge again, blending into my surroundings. No, this is not necessary. Stop it, Shimmer. With a sigh and an apprehensive look towards the far wall, I allow swirls of blue and purple to flood my scales again. "I'll be at the fruit pile, if anyone needs me." I say, heading towards the mountain of fruit.

Coral goes for some chicken and Snowstorm goes towards the Icewings I grimace recongizing one of the Icewings that used to bully me constantly when I lived in the Ice kingdom, I sighed and went to the fish.

I pick out some of the less greener mangoes, slicing them neatly with one, multi-coloured talon. Carefully, without getting any of the juice on my claws, I eat all of my fruit. I wonder if the others are done too? I step over a bunch of crazed, flapping chickens to where Coral's eating. "Nearly done?"

Coral looked up he had just finished his Chicken and nodded smiling warmly as he stood, he ruffled his wings and yawned slightly getting the rest of sleep from his eyes. I looked over at Snowstorm was looking at me while his friends were laughing and eating, my scales prickled uneasily, I sighed and finished the fish I ate that I had heated up with my flames. I stood and stretched to a full my wings opening and the torch light catching the galaxy just right. Coral looked over at Nightfall and froze when he saw her stretch and he smiled. Snowstorm was shocked.

I roll my eyes. It's like they've never seen a RainWing before. Or a peculiar hybrid. I stretch my wings out, imitating the colours that swirled around Nightfall's own wings. "Poor babies." I mock the IceWings. "Always a boring shade of white."

Coral glanced at Shimmer amazment at her scales but he muffled a laugh in his talon at what she said, Icicle the lead Icewing snarled at Shimmer and I growled in return "she is just being funny Icicle, grow up!" I snapped defending my friend, my wings had snapped shut knock Snowstorm out of his trance, my eyes shifted colors from deep purple to Icy blue, as I glared at the Icewing. Snowstorm looked surprised before stepping towards me his wings opening and blocking my view of Icicle, "easy... Dont need to burn anyone..." He said and I glanced at Shimmer my eyes softening slightly before I sighed.

I'm not being funny! I actually mean it! I growl, low enough that no one hears me and close my wings. Sticking out my tongue at the IceWings, I leave the Prey Center.

"I know you werent being funny..." I whispered to her so she could hear, "I woulda said the same... But... There was more of them then there are of us..." I said and left the Prey Center my eyes straight forward, Coral looked slightly scared but remained still "it was nice... At least Snowstorm is in our Winglet... His frost breath is painful..." He mumbled.

Coral looked at her uneasily, "okay... I believe you... But you could get expelled..." He said looking scared and worried, I walked to an open window my wings shuddered angerly and I sighed. Memories of being bullied by Icicle remained in my mind and I sighed, "Shimmer... Just becareful... Capable you are but still..." I hissed to myself, my eyes studied the plants below.
