Micah followed him in. A girl with short, wavy blonde hair looked up from a cabinet. "Hi! What do you need?"
Micah hesitated, now realizing that they'd have to tell another person about Ray's wings.

"Hi. Micah injured his arm and I, uh, am currently here because I have a broken wing I've got to set because we fought a cyclops..." Ray says, starting out amicable enough before becoming a bit more closed off and nervous.
Scarab was helping out the girl, holding a few things. They set them down and ask what type of bird because they just assumed that birds were the only thing with wings. I mean, humans didn't normally have wings.

The girl, named Amy, stared at Ray. To Scarab, she murmured, "he's a.. a human." She blinked quickly a few times, then said, "okay. Come over here."
Micah walked over to a chair and sat down, awkwardly watching Amy. Amy grabbed a few supplies and walked over to Micah, looking over his arm.

Scarab hums, a tiny bit confused before beaming as if they understood it completely. "So humans have wings now. Cool!" Scarab just assumed that everyone has wings now because they couldn't see to tell that Ray was a strange exception to this rule of humans being unable to have wings.
Ray perched on the edge of his seat. His foot tapped to a steady quick rhythm, his leg bouncing as he does so.

Micah glanced at Ray and smiled reassuringly as Amy examined his arm.
"Well," Amy said, grabbing a roll of gauze and wrapping it around Micah's arm. "It's not broken, or fractured. It'll definitely be sore, and I want you to come back every day for some disinfectants for those cuts. Don't do too much with this arm, got it?"
Micah nodded. The cuts in question were somewhat deep crescent-shaped cuts from the cyclops' ragged, dirty fingernails.

Ray smiles back, his smile a bit less calm and confident. He was glad that Micah was mostly alright. But if the cuts got infected that could be very bad and dangerous. Ray tried to call himself down.

Amy hesitated before she started looking over Ray's wing. "I'll do my best not to hurt you, but this is... Kinda new for me." She frowned, thinking of ways to set his wing.

"It's fine. I don't really need help. I'm sure I can set it myself. I'll be fine, hehe." He says, glad for an excuse to get out of here. He glances at Micah as he realizes he was acting childish, so he forced himself to sit still and stop talking and just let Amy do what she thought best.

Micah gave him a sympathetic look. Amy looked over to Scarab. "Can you get the medical binding, Scarab?" She then looked at Micah and Ray.
"I'll let you get out of here since you're clearly uncomfortable and I don't trust myself not to accidentally hurt you, but what you need to do is keep your wing in its natural position against your back and bind it like that. Every day, I want you back here so I can check the binding and give you a change when you need it. And absolutely no flying until I give the all-clear."

Ray sighs when he hears the no flying rule, but he reluctantly acknowledges that that's the best thing to do to let the wing heal. "Sounds good. Can do." He nods.
Scarab nods and grabs the binding, handing it to Amy. The whole place was mapped out in their head after a few years of accidentally stumbling into things, so they could do this pretty easily now without the bumping into things.
