Nad lowered the bow so that it was now pointing towards the ground, though did not let go of the arrow. It could still be a trap. "Hey little one," she greeted a bit more softly, "Sorry for scaring you like that, we were expecting something else. You should head home, away from here." Nad wasn't entirely sure what to say here. She didn't exactly want to play escort, they had humans to get rid of...
(I'll take the Bulbori if need be. Nad's just being cautious as she believes the Hunters are close by and, more importantly, trying to use the Bulbori to make them let down their guard.)

The bulbori looks at you and hops into your lap. "It seems pretty scared, and you can let do of your bow, it doesn't seem to be a trap." Xerth says. Danino agrees silently. Izetta says, "Wanna take it, or want me to take it? You can probably take the most care of it, and plus, the more the merrier, I s'pose. There's always a chance it can metamorph, too."

Nad managed to rather swiftly move the bow and arrow in time to free a hand and catch the Bulbori when it leaped at her. It took some awkward movement to keep the sylesti in her arms while putting the bow down and the arrow away, but she managed. Nad then took a moment to mouth to herself "Metamorph?" In a silent question before shaking her head. "I suppose so," she agreed with Izetta.
(Metamorph, in this site, is a new term for me. What's it mean?)

Izetta heard you ask yourself and says, "Did I not tell you? Some Pavoranda Sylesti are born with the ability to Metamorph. This means they have the ability to change life stages. For all we know, this Bulbori could be hundreds of years old. They live up to ten times longer than normal Pavoranda Sylesti and are usually closely related to Pavora. They are also waaay more powerful than the average Sylesti, even when in hatchling form."
Xerth speaks up. "One of my grandsons is a Metamorpher. He's not as good at battling as I am, but he can hide better than me. Hatchlings are smaller than adults, so they can get really small and hide in tiny places that an adolescent or adult never could."
"But there is no way to tell a metamorpher from a normal Sylesti. It is quite rare to see an unaccompanied Bulbori hatchling way out here, but it could have gotten separated from its mother. Who knows," Danino says to you.
