Fate rolled her eyes. "Humming now? Well, at least it's better than singing variations of the same line over and over again." They continued down the path peacefully until suddenly, an arrow shot out of nowhere at Charsy.

"I don't know!" Fate scrambled to duck as another one came at her. She yelped, and suddenly, a stream of water burst from her hand, hitting it out of the air.
Arrows shot at everyone- and it took a few seconds for them to realize it was coming from the trees. Creatures dressed in complete black dropped from the trees.
They had dark brownish-green skin, and wore tattered black threads.
Fate's eyes widened. "Are those... goblins? TAKE COVER!"

I had been exploring, and then I heard the yelling. I saw goblings with bows attacking the others. With a whoosh, I landed behind them, spinning and knocking some over with my wings. I threw them into trees, and smahsed them in the ground. They barely went up to my waist. An arrow struck my shoulder, and I cried out. There were too many goblins. I felt something hit my head, then I felt nothing.

Selina couldn't fight goblins! She flew up high enough to avoid the arrows, looking for something she could do to help.
