Winter lets out a laugh and changes into an ice wolf. She runs after Kat, her paws hitting the ground. She hadn't felt so carefree in forever. She barked as she caught up to Kat.
"Yes!" says Kitty. "I wanna help!"
"Her real parents were the king and queen. She's the princess, but they didn't like her, because she couldn't inherit the throne so they abandoned her." says Teru.

Kitty nods very seriously. "I like cats. Even if they aren't real cats." she says. Then she adds "Let's go!" in a cheery voice.
"Wait, let me stitch up your wounds." says Teru.
Winter skids to a stop beside Kat. She sniffs the air. "Its not the village that I used to know. I mean, location wise it is, but everything else is.... wrong.

Winter runs after the horse. Her paws barely touch the ground, but she is all too aware of the cold, unwelcoming ground that is damp beneath the pads of her paws. She leaps over some rubble in the road and continues on, her heart throbbing loudly.
