Bradyn listened carefully to this old 'legend'. He hadn't heard this one before, and it...fascinated him. "Do you really believe that?" He asked. "That it's just something mothers to tell their children before bed?" Despite physically being a man, mentally, he could be naive. Wanted to be naive. Wanted to believe in something, anything.

The man chuckles and says, "Sadly no. My mother did though. She tells me this legend til she past away. She said even if the legend did tell a tale of an elf helping our kingdom its based on a fact or truth. With every myth or legend there is. There is some truth to it. Yes some are lies but that is because of the teller that passed it down,"

The man raised and eyebrow and says, "And if this legend is true then why are we still have tension with the other elves? Our kingdom was founded 40,000 years ago in our history. Why haven't the elf in the legend came back?"

"You're saying you expect one elf to come and magically make everyone love each other? Think about all the generations that have passed since the founding of the Kingdom. Whatever happened to the elf...well, clearly, we have a different king. By a loooong time. So, that's like Atlas holding the world up. Except replace Atlas with an elf."

The man laughs and says, "It's not as simple as that Bradyn. We have different kings for generations. Some lasted longer then other kings. But the elf in the legend disappeared before the first tyrant ever ruled. Also Atlas is a immortal titan not an elf."
