She never complained or fought Mira about who slept on the floor. She never precisely said 'thank you' either. She woke up quick, sitting up so fast her head spun for a second or two.

Charly pressed the heel of her hand to her forehead, not taking her eyes off Mira. Sure, she might be pretty. That doesn't mean she was trustworthy, though. Even though she'd invited Charly into her house, fed and housed her.
