"Good. He refuses to tell anyone else.Your lucky that you know,so you won't be in the dark of his wounds." She said,staring up at the moon. "To think,my poor brother alone out here.Hatching alone to only the moonlight,stars and Lunar Lilies. I feel so bad,I wasn't able to get the royal hatchers to let him stay.To keep him."

Ash wasn't sure what to say to comfort her. "At least he's still alive."

She shook her head,closing her eyes. "He didn't grow up with us,he lost that first month of bonding that we dragons do to keep our young happy and strong. They learn of truth and family,of the clans and that we are safe in our mountain home. He didn't learn any of that.Nor did he see Flasher or I when he hatched,older siblings are one of the first things hatchlings must see. A parent or caretaker if they had no siblings."

He nodded. "But that's all in the past now. There's nothing you can do about it now. Just look at Jason."

She sighed and looked at her younger brother,eyes soft. Jason was smiling as he hugged Clementine,listening and nodded as his father helped Jason get comfortable with his mother. Soon he hugged her both hugging and Julian whispering softly to him,rocking him slightly.

"If one thing had changed, he might be dead, in the Second Plane with you guys."

She sighed."But...."

Their father hugged the other three,Jason cuddling a bit with his mom and Clem cuddling with their father. Jason's mom wasn't his siblings mom. Only Shade shared his exact parents.

"And if he was on the Second Plane, Crysta might have died."

She sighed,shoulders slumping. She turned to him and her eyes where pained and tired,sad and stressed. "But he keeps getting his tail into trouble,if he'd grown up with us he wouldn't."
