Flames are licking across his skin, burning the dead grass. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Now that Sibnele is gone, the atmosphere feels lighter. Luca can hear the others moving and talking faintly over the hill from here. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Sibnele fades back into existence inside his hidden study. He sits at his desk and takes a swig of the bottle. Putting his head down, he falls asleep quickly.

I growled and shifted back my crimson eyes stared at him, "I have nightmares all the time... She used to sing me that... Song I was humming before..." I said the last part under my breath.

Latan smiles thinly. "Being immortal means that there's a lot more that you could dream about. And, considering that I can't forget anything. . ." He shrugs. "That's the downside of my job."
