I jumped as her tail went on fire.
"Is that normal?"

Kida Pulled her tail away from Alex and brushed out the flames on the wooden floor that left a chard mark before turning back to Alex " Sorry about him..... hes not too kind on the thought of anyone who stands below him " she said with a half joking smirk.

Lilly rubbed his ears soothingly as he asked his question " not really...... we have dances and parties, but nothing thats your only chance......... but I think a Blood moon ball would be much better.... not many people I know are happy with their partners they have chosen " she admitted thinking of her own parents

I gave her a tiny smile. "Yeah. I got that feeling from him." I told her.

I purred. "Oh that's cool wel not the unhappy part." My tail flicked happily as she pet my ears.

You get home from the Blood Moon ball dejected because you didn't find the monster for you like everyone else. You sigh putting your house keys down before you hear it; soft, gentle snoring sounding like a kitten purring. You become on guard because you live alone.

For a second, I thought it was Alice, sleeping in my bed, purring like a cat, despite behind being a witch. Then I realized...

Alice is dead, stupid.

I banged my fist against the door. The whole night came back to me. Me, trying to stay at the ball, but couldn't, because it was supposed to be Alice that I was with, not going alone to find someone.

I only stayed for 15 minutes, then ran my steam off. Going home, I had found a picture of a male, human, by the looks, but shredded it.

Nonetheless, I was forgetting the point here: There's a stranger in my home.

Quickly, I unlock the door and run to my bedroom (Thankfully, my house was clean.) I slam my door open.

I saw him.

I jumped awake from the sound of a slamming door. My eyes got wide as I saw a very muscular, very mad man. "What are you doing in my house?" I asked confused on why he was here, how because I lived on a third story building, and why it smelled like jasmine in here.

I tried to breathe. Just an innocent human, just a human. I tried my best to keep my voice steady as I said, "Human, how did you get here?"

Sometimes, in these cases, I wished I could use Alice's wand to calm myself down, by using thyme like she always did.

This wasn't one of those times.

"Aren't you human?" I asked him. I paled as I realized that this was not my apartment. "I-uh- this isn't my house." I told him. "I'm not sure how I got here. After I was mugged I went home; which isn't this place."
