I winced at the words: "Eat those who displease." Nodding, I thought for a second about what to say. "Let's see... This isn't a fairytale, nor something of mystery." I muttered, an idea coming to mind. I glanced upwards, then closed my eyes to visualize. "This is the story... The story of two, mystical snakes. They were quite young at the age of meeting, in which they were too foolish to realize consequences. All giddy and hands-down happy, they became good friends. Too good of friends, mind you." I opened my eyes to look at the snakes expressions.

She shifted her weight to the other foot, though she seemed unoffended. "Well, I can't breathe underwater, for one. Also, if I am captured by a man against my will in this form, I am forced to become his wife and never return to my seal form."

The snakes seemed slightly annoyed at the mention of happiness, but made no sudden moves yet. They just watched you intently, a mild curiosity about them.

I sat, hesitating as I pondered about the next part. What should I do...? I don't know if I am getting this right. But, I can't stop now or else I'm a gonner. I closed my eyes again, and continued, rather unsure of myself. "They decided to venture together, in which they came upon a Sorceress. She was more over rude and looked quite scraggly. She tested the snakes on how well they could do for... Something. In the end, they didn't make it- So, they decided flattery was the best option. Yet, the Sorceress disliked it, and so her words of wisdom were: 'Two is better than one, and it seems you both are better together.'"

"I can breathe underwater in my seal form. And I don't think it's exactly magic. I think it's more of our psyche and our species. Our souls, I suppose, are sort of on display when we're in our human form. Therefore, when we are captured against our soul's desires, our soul is, indirectly, captured as well," Aislinn explained.

The snakes eye you carefully, but you are unable to tell what they are thinking. "What were they tested for?"
