"I was born into the creed like anyone else. I guess it was just practice? I'm no good at anything else really, besides the ground makes me nervous, well it's more that people make me nervous." She said, looking out at the city, not meeting Alhena's eyes.


Seth shrugged, "we don't kill innocents, our fight is against the templars, not the people."

"Well I'll tell you one thing, I have never seen anyone climb as good as you." Alhena smiled. "I don't think even Altair is as good." She was just trying to make her friend feel better, even if she did have to talk down the master a bit.

"I guess I have a lot to learn yet then, I'll try to do a bit better." Yatahammal said lowering his head so he looked at the ground. "So what next?"

Saqr fell into step next to Violet. "Shall we return? I have all the information I need." He said in a more of a growl like tone.

Violet shrugged and nodded. "Sure."

She smiled, "thanks, but I don't think anyone is THAT good."

"I think it's about time we head back don't you?"

"Believe me, I think you are." Alhena smiled. "What you say we head back? Across the roofs this time."

"Lead on then. I can't remember me way around this damn city."

"Alright!" Yatahammal smiled. "I mean sure why not, the sooner the better." He gave a shy smile and looked up a Seth. As if on an urge he grabbed the other man and gave him a light kiss on the lips before recoiling in embaressment. "Sorry, I didn't....I just thought..."

Gabriel smiled and nodded. She jumped off the tower into a bale of hay that way for some reason on the rooftops. Because that's where EVERYONE keeps their hay.

Violet face palmed. "Of course you don't you great buffoon."

Seth was stunned for a minute before he smirked and kissed the man back. He pulled away and lay a finger on his lips. "Don't be sorry," he said, looking into his eyes. (I could make pizza with all that cheese)

Alhena took a breath and followed. The hay was a soft landing like always, which on its own seemed a bit strange. "I hope the others haven't ran into trouble...it would be our luck that we had to go save them, am I right?" She smiled.

Saqr crossed his arms over his chest and gave her a cross look. "It's not my fault, I've never been here before. I'd need atleast a week to learn every different little street and where it leads."

"Alright." Yatahammal said his smile growing. For once he felt as if someone understood him, like someone seemed to care atleast. It was a good feeling, no it was more. It was the best feeling, to know that when you woke up that someone was there that would know your name and would be there for you. "We should be getting back, the others they will be looking for us. Could we perhaps keep this to ourselves?"

"Remind me again just why there was so much blood in this place?" Shadir asked as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. At least the bureau was clean now and the bodies removed even if he had done it all himself.

"Well it seems to me that some of your novices don't understand that there is a way to stab someone and not get any blood on you." Rasul said rolling his eyes some as he straightened up a book self.

"How come when they are novices they are always my problem?" Shadir asked with a slight smile. "I mean I'm not a mentor, yet."

"Think of it as training before training. At least you will have more experience than others." Rasul said turning back to the pile of books he was sorting through. Shamea held one out to him in her mouth as if she was trying hard to help him.

Gabriel laughed. "probably."

"have you considered a map?" she said and began to walk.

Seth nodded. "of course. but if you think I'm going to just pretend that didn't happen, you're wrong." On the way back it was all Seth could do to keep his hands to himself. Yatahammal was new, interesting and wouldn't judge him for his sexual orientation. but the people around them might. I wasn't that he didn't believe in god, the others in the age, simply that he disagreed with the ways some conveyed his word. How could something that felt so right be wrong.

For once Alhena smiled. "You know I've really never had this much fun before. Thank you."

"I have no need for a map." Saqr growled. "They cost money and time...."

"No, no, no! I don't expect that, the thing is I have never meet anyone like you before. I like it! Like, like like it. I don't know if I would call love but in a way I feel like that's what I mean." Yatahammal blushed a bit and looked away. "I feel like I can connect with you. I know it's not right in many people's eyes, and that if we went through with this neither of us could bare a child but it just feels right in a way."

(grumbles about internet and already having written a post)

"Why not? I mean, we're not bound by the same laws as normal people. Our job is to kill people, why not have a bit of fun sometimes." While she knew that the Templars were bad, Gabriel was just a bit too young to fully understand why they were bad.

"Then why steal ours?" Violet grumped.

Seth laughed. "calm down. and stop worrying about stuff like that and just enjoy the present. we have to stay focused on our task. let's head back now shall we?" While he sounded calm inside his head was spinning. it was all he could do not to pull the man into the alley and kiss the adorable kiss right off his face.
