Since you two are the only people out of about dozen that actually play, you are my only hope for getting referral bonuses.. and the only one I haven't from either of you is to nurture 1500 eggs/hatchlings. I have well over 10,000 nurtures.. you can get 1,500! Hah. Plus, it makes the babies hatch quicker and have better stats!

Gerty has 760, needs 740 more.
Cat has 596, needs 904 more.

I usually just nurture my own...unless someone asks me to nurture theirs.

I was gonna say I half the time forget to even nurture my own. LOL I try I really do...But I forgets them :( Poor babies. I guess if there was more incentive to it other then hatch quicker. It would be nice if every so often it would help them be a better level or something. Just saying. *hint hint site*

Lovecraft - Yeah. there isn't a whole lot for incentives.. though there is a (small) chance to get an Essence.. last one I got was a Mythical one and I sold for almost 2m worth or gold and items. Plus, pet dyes from the scale shop will come in handy when my projects get towards being finished.

It won't be long before the new hatchery updates happen, so I'm stocking up on scales just in case.

Zyrabella, Terrenaanimula and Doug already answered about the Diamonds.
if you can earn yourself gold, then you can go to the trades and exchange the gold for diamonds (like fresh said)
but you really have to work on collecting the gold.
it helps, if you have a pet, to make sure they stay on Mission (look under your headers)
those satchels usually have something decent, or at least gold. (it helps)

Oh that is true. I haven't used any of my scales. Really you can get an essence or something from it? I didn't know that. Good to know.

Oh yeah. I haven't gotten one in quite a while but it happens.. you get the essence for whatever you just nurtured. I've bought a few eggs with scales but it doesn't seem worth it when you can buy the pets I got for just a few thousand gold.. however the philters in stuff could come in handy and I believe they are re-working the system so who knows what is in store..
