Snape looked to the two other professors questioningly, McGonagall simply looked concerned while Ackley seemed to be agreeing with whatever Snape was thinking.

"Steven, how about we have a chat?" Ackley said, straightening up and nodding to Snape, the two professors led Steven down towards Snape's classroom. McGonagall looked quite startled, watching the three disappear down the staircase and into the dark hall.

She turned to Scarlett, "Dear, head back to bed. Your friend will be taken care of as the professors see fit." She placed a gentle hand on Scarlett's back, leading her back to the dorms.

Scarlett bowed to Professor McGonagall before heading off to bed and falling asleep.

Snape led Ackley and Steven into his office, opening another door connected to his office that led to his room of potions. He turned to Steven, leaning down to his level as Ackley stood behind the student, keeping him in place with firm hands resting on his shoulders.

"Return what you stole," Snape muttered, eyes seeming to stare right into Steven's soul.

Steven gave a few of the potions back, if Snape would ask where the rest were, he would say he doesn't know, because he doesn't. He had only stolen those potions.

Ackley let go of Steven's shoulders, shaking his head in disappointment.

Snape set the potions in their respectful places before turning back to the student, "Fifteen points from Slytherin."

Steven looked around, "You are missing a few more, I do not have any idea where those may be. I could give a few students' names that I have seen carrying around objects that look like potion bottles. Though, I am not sure if any of them will be the correct person."

"I have everything handled, head to your dorm," Snape said, turning his attention to Ackley. The two professors seemed to silently communicate, sending each other a quick nod before they turned their attention to Steven.

"Of course, sir. Good night." He then left to go back to his dorm.

Snape shut the door after Steven left, returning to the closet of potions. He ran his hands over them, noting the ones that still were missing. Ackley flicked his wrist, watching as transparent bottles appeared in the missing spots, he noted what they were looking for before the spell dimmed.

"I'll see what I can do."

Snape nodded, turning to follow Ackley out of the room, he locked it, flicking his wand, the flames dying down. "Very well." They strode off to their respectful rooms.

Scarlett was waiting for Steven with her arms crossed as if she was an angry mother. As Steven walked into the dorms, a loud smack could be heard from the other side of the door.
