Kal nodded, then glanced at Barlo. "When will those knifes be finished?"

"Patience is a virtue." Barlo growled.
"I'll sharpen the knives," Selkie started sharpening the knives.
(Not what I was going for but sure)

"Just wondering!" The echidna said defensively.

After a few minutes Selkie put the knives down, "Finished."
Barlo put the claw like metal in the water, "Hope I did this right," he muttered taking them out.
Selkie looked at the claws and groaned, "Not what I was hoping for."
"Sorry kid but I you saw the metal fighting me, it seems to me that this was meant to be," Barlo held out the cooled shovel claws and Selkie tied the seaweed handles to them.
"That is the finished product Kaladin," Selkie didn't let his emotion get the better of him.

"Selkie...?" He asked, taking the knives,
