He curled into Ash and shook,crying softly. "B-but i was right there....I was right there.If I h-had been able to move,to b-brake those binds Sh-shade had on me...I could have helped...I could have saved her....Clementine....Lavender had already b-been dead b-but... She called my n-name...she couldn't b-but tried! All that came was blood as there w-was pain and fear in her eyes,her p-precious little golden eyes. He ripped her open...right th-there....it t-took two whole hours and s-she screamed every s-second before all th-that came was blood. Th-then he came f-for me once she was almost dead.H-he ran away before I c-could kill him and I cradled my d-dying little sister....I watched h-her life fade from her eyes and I felt her blood trickle between my claws a-and scales...th-then...father...dad came in." he sobbed softly,his story not done but he understood and believed Ash.

He stayed silent this time, listening.

"The pain in his eyes,the heartbreak that shot cracks through him...." He held onto Ash as if his world was spinning wildly,as if he would be yanked away into a never ending pit. Or as if he was afraid that Ash would shove him away and tell him to be stronger or something.And explain to him that others had gone through worse than he had.
"He walked in...and he saw their bodies a-and blood....he held Lavender's l-lifeless body and broke into sobs...s-sobs....that released cracks through his body,b-breaking from his heart and o-out. Spidering,I watched,helpless as he broke farther and farther,faster a-and faster. I was right there....and he soon was solid glass before...." He shuttered. "He burst.Glass f-flew everywhere with a-a large popping noise....I was t-terrified as I realized...I'd lost half the fa-family I'd found....and then Fl-Flasher came...." He paused and just sobbed,shaking wildly and holding onto Ash desperately,as if needing something to hold onto after so long. He'd never told anyone this,he'd not even written it down for fear of someone reading it. And this wasn't the only story that was dragging him down.

Ash held Jason, feeling it was the least he could do for him. He stayed silent, not pressing anything.

He then spoke again weakly,forcing the words on.He knew he couldn't hold it in any longer,not for another five years. "Flasher saw all this,the blood on my scales and glass in my talons. He saw me and the remnants of our father and sisters....he almost shattered too.B-but...I held him till he stopped c-crying...when he stood again...his eyes where cold toward me.Not loving and happy a-anymore.Dead cold. He kn-knows it wasn't m-me who d-did it,I told h-him and he understood....but he still hasn't b-been able to love me again...and S-silver....he learned a while ago and....h-he's losing love f-for me as well....s-sometimes I wish I had died here...in th-this very field.Why w-would there be any o-other reason I h-hatched alone...b-but now I know....I-I know why I want to live....I want revenge....o-on Shade...I'll kill him one day,with my own talons. He'll die slowly,minute by minute." his tone became cold and,still half crying,he spoke of how he wished to kill his twin. "He'll pay. I'll rip him open like he d-did Clementine. Like he did L-Lavender....he'll d-die.I'll rip him a-apart slowly.So sl-slowly that he won't even know it's happening until after a few minutes. He'll be b-begging for me to stop,but I-I wont! H-He'll pay! He'll p-pay for what he did!"

Ash knew that feeling all too well. The want of revenge. The want to get back at someone had wronged you past words. "What are you going to do after you kill him?" He asked, holding tight to Jason

"I'll show the dragons th-that I'm worth something if anything. I'll show them that Multiwings aren't what they think. I'll show them.I'll show them all,I'll bring back Shade's head and throw it at Flashers talons,he'll see that I'm not just a little lost hatchlet with no home! I'll show them,I'll show him. I belong...I belong,and I'll show him. And as long as he gets Shade's head he'll believe me.And this war will end...it'll end.And I'll be the one to end it." He growled softly,still crying a bit.

"But...sometimes ending one war causes another."

He hiccuped before responding. "I-I just w-want to kill Shade...I want t-to be the one to slice his torso open a-and rip him slowly open,p-piece by piece." His words soon,though,where overwhelmed with sobs and hiccups as his body shook,he held onto Ash and curled close as if wanting to hide in his arms and never come out again,even if it meant to kill Shade. He mostly just wanted peace,peace of heart and mind.Of his emotions and...maybe just to rest in peace.Just to rest on The Secondary Plane. Where dragon souls went to rest.If you used magic and the crystals here just right you could interact with them.It would be hard but it could be done.

Ash didn't say anything else, trying to be supportive. He held Jason close, stroking his head as if that would somehow help.
