Scias followed behind her, just to heel at the sight of an explosion further down the hall.

The debris of a blown out room clattered down as an experiment had climbed out of the room, drenched in the ichor of the Scorpino guards it had just eliminated.
This experiment seemed.. different almost. Its skin was a ghostly white and spiny, spider-like legs hung from its back. It didn't seem to be wearing a control collar, but a feral, deranged look was apparent in its solid black eyes. It clutched a laser rifle in its four arms, hissing lowly at the group.

Saras spun, and trained all hos weapons on it.

(Just so there is no confusion, I said nearly kill Zeth. If I let her die, then I will die at the hands of the merciless ship monster they call 34 XD. I'd rather not go that way, so please, let's just bring her very very very close to death, but not dead.

She aimed her pistol at it ab began to fire, her eyes closed to ensure good aim.
Umbra had to be behind the creation of this thing. it was far to vicious and strange to be the doing of anyone else.

I can deal with nearly as long as I can have some fun with it.)

The spider experiment seemed only mildly deterred by the weapon fire, rounds clinking off of highly altered carapace. Those that made contact with its armor and alabaster skin didn't seem to bother it much as it made its approach, trying to hose down Saras with its own laser fire.

Scias
Scias tried to swing at it, only to get pinned to a wall as another, weakened one had pulled itself out of the wreckage of the lab room.

Rey
Rey took a step back, just barely dodging the other emerging spider experiment as she tried to shoot off its legs after reloading her electric rifle.

(You pretty much have free reign at this point, so knock 'er dead...

But not dead dead...lmao)

Zeth

After a moment of realizing the bullets were no help, she resorted to a more strange and dangerous weapon. This was a form of plasma grenade, known to cause a good deal of damage to an area of about 15ft. Not much in terms of distance, but it certainly pack a painful, and occasionally fatal punch.

"Bombs away!" She yelled, making sure that Scias, Rey and Saras would be aware of the soon to explode bomb.

(Toss Hexic in with the rest of us, fighting a large spider mutant, or leave him guarding the outside with Traqil. Just suggestions, do what you want.)

(Can I get him captured? I want him to be captured for a while. By who? I don't know. Maybe like... a follower of Umbra? Hmmm... for now he'll just guard with Traqil)

(I don't see why not, but talk to Xedite about that. I think she has taken over most of the major stuff until flame gets back. I'm just helping out here and there.)
