Kurt swallowed. "Do you really not want me to do this?" He asked her quietly still a little hyped up from thinking about home and everything.

Katherine looked up at him. "I-If you think it's best then I-I'll do it..." she whispered nervously. Moving up a bit to rest her head on his collar bone, her face nestled into his neck. Slowly pulling up the blankets more so it covered them better. Watching the screen still. Still a bit scared but kept trying to hide it. Tracing his chest gently, letting it calm her. Kissing his cheek gently before nestling her face back into his neck. Closing her eyes and listening. Wanting to hear what was said if he did decide to call.

Kurt shook his head putting the phone down next to his bed. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders loosely. "Tomorrow when you go to work, I want you to stay inside with your boss... I'll bring your lunch by for you okay?" He asked her quietly rubbing her shoulder gently.

Katherine smiled a bit, nestling into him more. "Okay..." she whispered softly. Opening her eyes when he put his phone down, confused. "I-I thought you wanted to call them..." she whispered nervously. Smiling more when his arm went around her. Leaning into him when he rubbed her shoulder. Humming a little. Shifting a little to kiss his cheek again. Kissing over to his lips. Resting her forehead against his. Looking into his eyes. "It will be okay..." she whispered. Closing her eyes. Pressing her lips to his gently.

Kurt smiled a little at her before frowning when she said it would be okay. "No it won't... Not until you're safe..." He said quietly shifting a little to were his back was slightly turned to her, his hand holding her's. Why didn't she get it? He wanted to protect her because he had continually failed to do so.

Katherine frowned. Sighing sadly "I-I am safe, I'm safe with you..." she whispered, scared she made him mad at her. Looking at the bed when she noticed he had turned away from her. Holding his hand closely to her. "I'm sorry..." she said nervously, not wanting him to be angry with her. "Kurt..." she whispered, wanting him to turn back around. Shaking a little.

Kurt swallowed biting his lip. "Never be sorry for anything Katherine... It isn't your fault..." He said not believing she was safe with him. She kept getting hurt... And it was his fault. He pulled her hand over to him kissing her knuckles. "Try and get some sleep okay?" He said to her holding her hand in front of him looking at it carefully.

Katherine sighed "I-It is my fault...I should have been paying attention..." she whispered. Knowing he was thinking it was his fault. "It's not your fault Kurt...it never was..." she whispered. Moving to lay against him. Resting her cheek on his shoulder. Feeling horrible for him thinking it was his fault. Smiling a little when he kissed her knuckles. Loving when he did that. Smiling a bit more as he kept looking at her hand, wondering why he was looking at her hand. "There's nothing special about my hand you know..." she whispered a bit teasingly. Still letting him have her hand but wrapping her arm around him. Rubbing her face against his shoulder gently. Not wanting to sleep right then.

Kurt shook his head listening to her. It was his fault. He should have done something more to protect her. Maybe if he had done a better job of protecting her she wouldn't have thought he would have kissed that girl. He made a small laughing noise. "Well, it's your hand, that makes it special." He said quietly feeling a bit on edge when she laid against him.

Katherine smiled loving the little noise he made. Blushing when he spoke. Nestling against him more. kissing his shoulder gently. "I love you..." she whispered smoothly. Rubbing her face against his shoulder again gently. Making a quiet happy noise. Leaning against him a bit, staying as close as she could to him. Keeping her arm around him. Feeling safe with him. Watching him look at her hand. Biting her lip nervously.
