Scias fired into the corridor, dropping two other guards. He stopped, taking a moment to steady his trigger finger as he noticed this way led to a sort of lab area. It was not too unfamiliar from the one he had been assigned to during the dream testing, but it still made him uneasy to see such a room again.
Further down the hall, there seemed to be more lab rooms, but their purposes seemed far less obvious to him. One of them had tanks with suspended, sleeping humans wired up to some sort of machine.
He knew immediately they were some sort of clones or artificial embyroes judging by the similarity of features this group had.

Saras immediately began working to hack the machine to learn what its purpose was.

(Sorry I didn't respond all day. I had some agitating things to deal with and it took much longer then I suspected.)

Zeth

She gave Saras a glare as he ruined her small moment of revelry by decapitating the experiment, but soon followed closely behind Scias into the lab. While he steadied himself, Zeth moved on further into the room, searching every crack and cranny of the place for anything that might be hidden. She wasn't searching for anything in particular, but figured that there might be something useful hidden within the room somewhere. Perhaps X's core was here.

There didn't seem to be anything resembling a Daarizi core or any level of Daarizian technology here. The monitor that Saras had been trying to hack into seemed fairly tightly locked down, but it was very apparent it was a form of life support system for these artificial humans.
There were likely more in the facility and from the sounds of footsteps in the corridor, the security didn't take well to anyone nosing about their experiments.

Scias
A wary eyed Scorpino in a labcoat hissed at them from the doorway, raising a gun before Scias sent him reeling backwards with a fierce surge of electricity off a swing of the flaming sword in his hands.
"Get lost."

There seemed to be other staff and guards in the hall that had been barred entry by the Daarizi's assault.

Rey
Rey covered him while the other two investigated, firing at two of the guards who swiftly dropped from the accurate shots into their exposed necks.

She growled slightly as she searched the room but to no avail.
"Let's keep going." She mumbled as she picked up her pistol. "We still need to find Umbra. The more we wait, the less likely we are to catch him."

(Just noticed I have yet to seriously injure Zehty. Might have to make that happen.)

(yeah, I'm so hype, had to go and change it right away. It was like 5mil+ gold but it was so worth it to finally get hands on the stupid Ghostly Pirate Costume I needed. Lmao
The other avatar I had is the closest I can get to the other (I actually got hands on the Storm Lord's Sword I needed, but missing both a more accurate outfit and the tail is disappointing. One day I will have both though.

Also I swear, Pipps, you and Rubycookie need to cut me a break with torturing characters I'm trying to adore. Might be a taste of my own medicine but darn it let me love them)

Scias had cleared the path at this rate, catching his breath as the flames dissipated over the floor.

She moved on to the next room wordlessly, ready to shoot anything that moved. Umbra couldn't be too far from here. The desire for revenge was fogging her judgment. She wanted pay back for all of the years she lost serving as an exterminator indirectly under Umbra's name.
