"No, I don't think he is." Kaladin said, putting away the last of the spices. "Ah, well. It probably can't be helped, can it?"

Houston had a very guilty look on his face.
"Spill Houston or you will never be let in this kitchen again." The cook demanded.
"Please don't do that to me please this kitchen is the only safe place away from the wolf brothers and Caspian," Houston started crying, "Besides Selkie didn't tell me everything all I know is he gave up something percious to him to make whatever he is making."

Kaladin didn't respond, but looked back up at the ceiling.

The cook glared and Houston broke down.
"All I know is Barlo is a blacksmith and that Selkie asked him for help giving him some old clasp that was on a cape of his," Houston sobbed, "I swear that is all I know."
The cook let up his gaze, "Getting the story out of Selkie or Barlo or both will be the only way you will find out what they are working on before they are done."
"Barlo can match Skipper in stubborness and agression when chanllenged," Houston warned.

"....So he is, is he?" Kaladin muttered, gaze still set above him.

"Yep I've face him more then once when it was done to either him or me being the cook. As you can see I lost," The cook said, "and I despise cooking."

(Okay. That made me laugh.)

"What weapon?" The echidna asked, gears turning.

"What do you mean what weapon? We fought hand to hand he broke my wrist in six different places," The bear rubbed his wrist,"I still don't know how he pulled it off."
