i sigh and curl up away from knux, "it's just, i don't trust myself when i'm wild." i said softly as tears rimmed my eyes, a tear slid down my furry face down onto my scratch, i winced as the salty tear went into the still open wound.

i got up and looked around, "where do you think pyro, hedge, and my mom are?" I asked.
"are there any traps there?" malory asked glaring at sonic.

Knuckles put the snake on a branch. "I dunno. I don't care."
"I just finished saying the entire island's rigged. If you stay close and listen to me, you'll be fine," Sonic sighed as if he was explaining to a child why they shouldn't touch the stovetop.

i glare at knux and sniff the air, i catch a whiff of malory, i follow the scent and soon find the trio and sonic, i see an arrow sticking out of the ground at sonic's feet, i growl at sonic and slink over to my mom and the boys.
malory hugged me and the boys did too, "now that kit is here i suppose so." she said as she got up the boys stood up.

Sonic nodded. "Great! The only rule is try to keep up!" He said, taking off at a reasonable pace.

i shake my head and dash after him, malory and the boys run after me and sonic, i catch up to sonic pretty quickly and get ahead of him, i stop in front of him grinning.

Sonic rolled his eyes. "Nice try. You have no clue where your going. Leave it to the pros, okay?" He said. Then he catapulted ahead, faster then a bullet, scaring a few birds as he did.
Knuckles trotted up to the Master Emerald and curled up beside it. "Just today," He said to himself. "Just one day, then they have to leave... right? Right." With that, he allowed himself to relax and get some rest.

i sigh stand up, i was no longer wild, i grinned and rose into the air using my jetpack, i easily kept pace with sonic as hedge, pyro, and malory had to run, but were still falling behind.

Sonic looked at her. "Okay, this happened before, so I'm only gonna tell you once. If this turns into a race, I can break the sound barrier at any given time. Don't turn this into a race unless you wanna risk going deaf. Also, jet packs are cheating," He said simply. "We're almost there,"
