Olvan nods and brings up something that Seth had told him to ask, "Do you know anything about a special tree?" He most definitely would be asking the record keeper, just in case.
Rue grows reserved, borrowing Ashia's cold attitude towards them.

"Ah, makes sense." Brandon nods in acknowledgement. He glances to the door where Phantom had growled towards and can't help but wonder if things were going to go well there.

"Do you mean the Evertree," Ashia asks, "or did you mean another tree? There are several myths about trees you know."
Justin looks at Ashia in surprise wondering how much they should tell Olvan. He wondered again if teaming up with the Greencloaks was a mistake. Something deep inside of him told him this was a huge mistake.
"What's the Evertree," Maya asks.
"It's thought to be where all of the Great Beasts originated from and the heart of the world. Aside from that if I remember correctly the tree is guarding a great danger. Aside from that your guess is as good as mine," Ashia answers, "You'd be better asking a Great Beast but I doubt they'd be willing to tell you much."


Diana watches as best she can, "Give me a minute. Phantom mind taking a look and seeing how the situation is?"
Phantom walks towards the door before opening it and going outside. He watches the scene with great intrest.

Olvan nods his thanks. "The Evertree sounds like the right oddity." He processes the lore and nods again in appreciation that she refreshed his memory of the myth.

Brandon stays quiet and doesn't move.

"Now should we resume negotiations or just part ways," Ashia asks as a bird flies overhead.
Justin glances up at the hawk understanding just what was about to happen. He didn't want the Greencloaks around much longer.


Phantom goes back over to them.
Diana frowns, 'No danger yet. Just keep your guard up."

"We will part ways and get back to you, or rather leave a message with Jackson and he will tell you our decision when you come back." Olvan tells Ashia.

Brandon nods and keeps quiet. Matamba stays by his side.

"Thank you," Ashia says going back towards the inn.
Justin stays outside of the inn waiting for the Greencloaks to leave.


Diana watches what's going on outside, "So Brandon if you want to be a Keeper, why do you want to be a Keeper?"

Olvan collects his things and leaves, the silent message he sends to the Rue and Maya to leave as well fairly clear.
Rue had been ready to go in a moment's notice so he worked on getting the horses ready for the trip back.
The Greencloaks were soon out of sight (assuming that Maya left as well; if not, that's cool too).

Brandon shrugs, "If I enlist in any force - Greencloaks, Conquerors, Keepers - I would join the one in which I think I could do the most good, make the most impact, and protect what I believe in."

Maya follows Rue silently. She releases Strider from passive state making her horse slightly uncomfortable. Striker runs alongside of the Greencloaks occasionally looking up at the sky.
"Olvan they wanted us out of there in a hurry, do you think they got a lead on a talisman," Maya asks, "I could double back and try to follow them."


Justin whistles to the bird who lands on Justin's glove, "Hello again Fletch. What did your handler find for us this time?"
Calmly Justin takes the message off of Fletch's leg and reads it, "The Silver Wolf? No way." Carrying Fletch Justin walks inside the inn, "Ashia you'd better read this."
Ashia quickly reads the message, "Send Fletch back with a message telling his handler we'll meet him at the village. Let's get ready to go."
Diana gets up looking questioningly at Brandon, Hazel, and Jay.

"If you feel as though you could do so, stay safe and out of trouble, I see no reason not to." Rue remarks.
"We're already so cautious around each other, I don't want to worsen the relationship by following them." Olvan notes.

Brandon and Jay nod instantly, ready to go. Hazel hesitates but shrugs and nods as well. All were willing and wanting to go along.

"Alright we need to move quickly then," Ashia explains, "You all have fifteen minutes to get ready while Justin and I are saddling the horses."
Phantom disappears becoming a tattoo on Diana's arm, "Ready when you are."


Maya frowns, "Olvan don't you think they're hiding something though? I mean did you see the bird circling above us? It wasn't just any bird it was a hawk, a messenger hawk. I'd wager they found something, something big."
