Mael stayed silent for the most part, not realy sure if saying somthing was neaded. Her togepi had start wiggling in her arm but from experience, she know that Eggnog didn't wanted to be let down. Since her pokemon wasn't realy vocal about anything, the girl had learn to read it's body language fairly well but coudn't figure out why Eggnog was acting up like that.

"Hey Mae, what's up with eggnog? Sereia asked, wondering why both Coal and Eggnog were acting off, seemingly distressed by something.

"Pew!" Nebby piped up from the bag, poking a limb out.

"You too Nebby? Stay in there, you'll be fine..." rei gently pushed Nebby's arm back into the bag.

"Maybe they're hungry, or tired? Or they smell something bad that only pokemon can smell" Rei suggested.

" I am not sure, i had Eggnog since the day she hatch so i usualy know what she want by now but she never acted like that before." She pat her pokemon to calm her down. " Maby she felt that somthing is wrong, I know that all togepi have a strong conection to emotions, maby there is a negative energy and it make her act up ?"

Cole frowned at his Pokmon, and froze, listening. He listened for a minute, before freezing. *no one move. Theres wild Pokmon nearby. And they sound wild.*

Coal and Thief growled, wanting to peotect the others.

Cole looked around, pulling out a sheild made of wood and a bit of metal, and nunchucks made of wood and a bit of oil-soaked cloth on an edge of one.

(Cole can fight. Also, sure, Druid!)

Axel looked at his Rowlet. "See anything unusual?"
"Kroo...." Nettle shook his head.
"Okay. Keep trying."

(okay... the weapons and shield might be a bit much... this is still the pokemon world)

Nebby rustles around in the bag a little more before it finally pops open, then jumps out.

"Nebby! No! Come back!" Rei demanded "It's not safe here!" She yelped, stepping forward to try to grab Nebby.

"Pew!" Nebby shouted back. The grass began rustling violently, and a large ekans sprung forward from the grass, aiming its venomous fangs right at the gas cloud.

"Nebby! No!!!" Rei began to move to rescue the little cloud, but wouldn't be able to reach him in time.

She was too far to help Nebby and was struggling with holding Eggnog in place while trying to grab Gamma's ball. A steel type would be able to take care of the poison types it was partialy why she wanted a magnemite but at the moment her ball had stuck on her belt for some raison and she coudn't let go of the panicked fairy type.

Axel yelped at the sudden appearance of the Ekans, and Nettle had appearently been caught off guard as well, cuasing it to flinch. Axel fumbled for Wave's Pokeball, though even if he could send out the Poison-resistant Phycic type in time, asking a Slowpoke to out-speed an Ekans mid-strike was a loosing battle.

(He made them himself. Thats his only gear, though. A kid does have to survive.)

Cole shoved Nebby out of the way, and got a bit right in his arm. He cried out in pain, and tore off his eyepatch. He wrapped it around the Ekanss mouth to pin it shut, then backed up and smacked it with the nunchucks a few times, damaging it a lot. Finnaly, he fell, exausted and weak, but glared at the Ekans, his good hand covering his bad eye. *you done?*

Coal and Thief gaped from the side, shocked at what COle just did.
