Kaladin blinked. "Pythons aren't venomous. They're constricting snakes, so you always see them coming,"

"They are? Nice to know when the python comes back for round four." Selkie remarked.
From up in the tree the python hissed "Some day I will get you back for this."

A hawk landed not far from the python. "You said the same thing to the last one. Honestly, what is it with you and hunting Mobians of all creatures? They are above the laws of nature; you are not!" He whistled. "And you give the harmless snakes a bad reputation!"

Kaladin nodded. "I suppose the python hates you, as well..."

"I just hate that seaslug of a sailor. Hawk have you ever been thrown twenty feet in the air, to land on another Mobian's head I have. I have never ever in my life been treated so badly." The python hissed. "I will scare the Seaslug a little more than I might stop scaring him and move."

"No doubt. Any more questions?" Selkie was getting a tad inpacient but trying not to show it.

"Have you ever been pushed out of the cozy nest on the top of a high tree by your own mother, life flashing before your eyes as the ground swifly came closer? No, but I have. Do I hate my mother? No, I do not. Now, stop belly-aching; Mobians will be Mobians, you focus on hunting smaller prey like the other snakes," Hawk replied curtly.


Kaladin shook his head. "No. Now we wait, unless you have more questions,"

"Yes I was push out of the nest in a tree by my brothers and sisters. Do I hate them, no. Do I hate that Mobian who stole my lunch not once, not twice but three times yes I a little more than fustrated by it." The python hissed. "I am large enough to take you down but you are a friend so I will not but do not test me today."
The python slittered down the tree wincing from the injuries he got from the times he and Selkie met.


"What was your craziest adventure?'' Selkie asked.

Hawk almost scoffed, but flew off. "Perhaps the wolves can make him understand... but not today,"

Kaladin smiled fondly. "I was delivering a message to the Nameless, the echidnas that dwell in the desert. I was chased by coyotes, stalked by Nocturnus, and spent much of the time in between loosing my way in the endless vastness of the region,"

"Nice." Selkie looked around waiting to hear a hiss or see the python.

"Nawe?" Kaladin inquired.

"My craziest adventure was my first journey with my parents on the ship. We five months out to sea and out of no where a pirate named Captain Cutlas appears. I was in the Crow's nest at the time the worst possible place to be in a battle. The pirate tried to board our ship and that is when the Black Momba appeared. Mom grabbed the Momba and threw it onto the the pirate ship. But that wasn't the craziest part. That came after the pirates fled. A small red bird blew onto the ship and Father got nervous. The bird was signal of a hurricane. Long story short we got into port three weeks before sechual and the crew accually kissed the ground when we were in port." Selkie spoke.
