Val heard Holt coming after her, she popped out her wheels and skated away quickly, "Mom, Dad, why'd you leave me?" she asked nobody in particular as tears rose in her eyes.

Holter broke into a sprint. "Val??" He called sympathetically.

Val had blasted her music, she soon arrived at a lake with a waterfall, she noticed there was a cave behind the waterfall, she went through the water and into the cave, she curled up at the back of the cave.

Holter stopped by the river. "Where....??" He muttered, looking around. "How can a whole fox just vanish?"

Val sniffed, she needed to think without anyone bothering her.

Holter walked up and down the river bank, calling for Valory.

Val had her music up on high, the music was calming, for her at least.

Holter eventually gave up, and it was then he realized he had no clue where he was. "Uh... Um... Sonic? Ghost? Shadow?.... Anyone...?"

Val thought back to when she had found out her parents had left her, it was a hard time where it was hard to find work.

Holter sighed and sat down on a rock. "Great."
