You pack your backpack with energy bars, water, and some other assorted things as you fix out your plan. The foster home you were stuck in was horrible, with the mistress hitting children and hurting you.

He sighed and ruffled up his hair, looking outside the window, wondering if he could make the jump instead of having to risk the stairwell

Looking down below, you see a two story drop. You could do it, but with almost certain risk of a broken ankle or leg. Sighing, you turn to the stairwell.
