Black ice's body twitched as you hit the ice. His feet seemed to move. Black ice started to move a tiny bit, breaking some of the ice. And making it easier for Sali to break.

Sali beat on the ice, trying to help Black Ice out. She ripped off piece after piece until he was free,"Black Ice..?"

His side started to move again, he was breathing. His mouth clenched together, telling Sali he was in pain. Soon his eyes opened and he looked up to Sali, his eyes were dull, but they filled with nervousness when he saw her.

"Black Ice?" Sali asked, inspecting him"Are you okay? What happened? How long have you been like that?" Sali's mind swarmed with questions as she looked into Black's eyes.

He blinked and sat up, very wobbily. He looked at her and opened his mouth, "I-I have no idea... All I can remember is that I got mad at myself for kicking you out..."
He turned to the stone wall, now with a crater in it. "And that I crashed into that wall, and I fell unconscious."

He sighed. He didn't seem to notice that she was hugging him, he just looked sad and angry. "I can see that you've grown taller." He said a small smile forming on his face.

Sali smiled, she had only grown 2 feet, but Black seemed to notice everything. "You should come outside, the desert is back and its amazing!"

"Heh, maybe it will warm me up." He chuckled as he got up. He walked outside with her and smiled, "The desert looks like you. Golden and beautiful." He closed his eyes and chuckled once more. He looked back up and watched the desert glow very slowly go dimmer.

Sali smiled and nuzzled Black Ice as the desert sun reflected off her scales. "I'm sorry about what happened that night..." She whispered, glancing back a the cave.
