Cole laughed, "Everything is taken care of after the assembly." JC, nodded before hushing the others," Here comes the headmistress." The tall woman walked gracefully up to the stage. She glanced at the audience before speaking into the microphone. "I know you are all excited, but we need a level amount of quiet so we can begin." She waited until silence fell over the crowd. "Now to begin with, welcome to Zodiac high, both to our new members and our returning students. We carry great pride in our school and our diverse talents. Our roles as protectors of the mythical realm is of gravest importance to the balance of the world. Never take who you are and what you do lightly. Here at this school you will learn how to harness your talents and how to use them with honor. The rules are there for your safety, break them and there will be dire consequences. That said we do want your experience here to be fun and enjoyable as well. We want you to be happy by being true to yourself. Today there are no classes. We will be holding introductions, helping newcomers find their animal partner and assigning dorms. After you are settled in you have the rest of the day to explore the campus. First years are to stay on school grounds until they receive a pass. The rest of you can visit the rest of the permissable parts of the island, you know what is expected of you. There will be dragon racing practice after the assembly so the dragon riders will be expected down by the arena once we are finished." The dragon racers including Cole, Zane, and JC, all cheered. The headmistress smiled before regaining the attention of the students. "Now for introductions I am headmistress Mie Chan. My partner is the Dragon Ling. He helps me keep order around here. I suggest you behave yourselves. The other teachers will intorduce themselves now."

Silva looked at the front as the headmistress spoke. She inwardly groaned at the mention of rules. Sure Silva followed them but she hated being reminded they were there. She leaned back on the palms of her hands. A few of her fingers ended up on top of Rat's hand. She didn't bother to move them.

Musa closed her eyes looking away from her foolish acting human.

Mia bushed deepened even more though it seemed impossible. She didn't even want to know what people might think if they happened upon her and Luffy. She pulled her foot out from the tangle of Luffy's legs and sat down on the floor near his feet. She stared at Sheptha her gaze cold. Sheptha looked back at her displeased as she pulled her hair in front of her face again.

Rat smiled at Silva as her hand came to rest near his close enough they were touching the Headmistress spoke and as she mentioned rules he wondered how many of them he would be braking with Silva or for her, his mind wondered threw the possibility and all the fun they would have together and any interest he had in Mia or any other girl for that matter was gone

Luffy smiled as Mia sat up but gave a slight frown as she pulled her hair over her face he reached his hand up and tucked her hair back behind her ear "why do you hide your face like that" he asked genuinely curious as to why she was beautiful to him and to hide such a face did the world a great injustice

Silva sighed. She curled her pinky around Rat's without even thinking about it. Silva looked back at Musa. "Aw, come on Musa you can't still be a sore sport." She said wondering what the small rat would do. Musa huffed. She wasn't a sore sport, she was outright mad at Silva.

Mia sighed and slipped onto a chair unnoticed by everyone else. She stares toward the front not speaking as she pulled her hair in front of her face once more. Sheptha sighed a bah and used the pendent to talk to the boy. 'She tells herself that it keeps her unnoticed, but why she really does it is because of her family.' He said walking over and sitting at Mia's feet

Rat set his hand fully on top of Silva and gave it a light squeeze Musa huffed and complained and he wondered why the little rat hated him and his so much his face became sad once more as he thought on the reason Musa didn't like him and it brought up all the reasons he didn't like himself

Luffy smiled and pushed Mia hair out of her face once more as he spoke to Sheptha "what did her family say" Luffy asked curious he had never had a family and had no idea what it was like only his uncle was around really and his uncle was no family of his

Silva looked at Rat with a smile that quickly disappeared. She squeezed his hand back and leaned her head on his shoulder her poofy hair touching his face a little. "Don't worry about her. She just has little tantrums a lot. And besides the only reason she doesn't like you is she's worried that you'll sweep me off my feet and I just forget about her." She turned her face back to the little rat. "Ain't that right Musa?" The rat huffed at her again.

Mia glared at him. "Will you cut that out?" She said bitterly her eyes frosted over with an icy burning stare pointed at him. She pulled the hair down on her face again. Sheptha rubbed against her leg trying to distract her. 'Her last name means Silver, and she's the only one in her whole family tree with dark hair. And the freckles didn't help her.'

Rat smiled back "she sounds a lot like Black Death he gets wild mood swings sometimes like now with his unusually niceness" Rat replied Black Death squeaked at Musa he was still upset that she didn't like his present but he tried.

Luffy just smiled at Mia "I think it just makes her even more unique than she already is and the freckles are cute I couldn't imagine her any other way" he replied to Sheptha

Musa looked at Black Death. She sat there thinking for a bit. Silva sighed. "Yeah. I still don't know why she thinks I'll forget her, it's never going to happen." She stayed still thinking letting her mind wander. "Hey, you said your rope could only go places you've hid a piece of it." She said looking at him with a smile that look as though ready to turn into a laugh. "How, and more importantly, Why did you hide a piece in a girls' dorm room?"

Mia turned to him. "What?" She asked bitterness still in her voice. She didn't get why he was just looking at her smiling. Sheptha almost nodded but refrained so that Mia wouldn't catch on that he was talking to Luffy. 'I know that and you know that but the thing is she thinks she's odd looking.'

Rat smiled sheepishly "so ooooooooooo
You ever seen a sunset from the crows nest of a pirate ship" he asked trying to change the subject from the girls dormitory to something else the truth was that at first it was because that is where Sithara stayed and when his family worked for hers he ended up seeing her a lot so she kept a piece in her things and with her at all times

Luffy looked at Mia with a sad look before turning his head and looking at his feet his hair fell over his face enough to cover his eyepatch "what should I do" he asked Sheptha

Silva chuckled a little when he changed subject. "No. Can't say that I have." She thought he was cute when he was attempting to keep a fact from her. She'd find out eventually. Musa turned and walked back towrd the humans but decided to leave them be for a tie longer and got into Silva's back pack.

Mia sighed. She started to calm down a little but her eyes were still icy. Sheptha thought for a moment. 'What you've been doing. Only Mia doesn't like being touched... Like at all'
