Thera Collins
She was determined to get rid of the Guardians. It would be an awful mistake if she had two and failed to defeat them. However hard she tried, her efforts to rally the troops and gain any ground, get any closer to the Guardians was futile. Thera was about to call her troops again when a bullet caught her and she went down.
The group she controls slowly begins to fall apart into chaos when they see their leader fallen. One tried to rally them to him. Those who did not listen to him were easily picked off. Those who stood beside him fell soon and he collapsed after another second. Breaching the human's defense was an encouragement to the Guardian's army.
Some humans begin to set up an ambush further back so that their retreat would walk the Guardian and zir followers right into their trap.

Chace Forrest
Chace grins at the tiny victory and calls zir fighters forward. Zir plan is to push the humans back while the humans are in mild chaos. The humans continue to steadily give ground.

Aspen heard Chaces plans and agreed she shot one of the what seemed to be leaders. she was proud of her perfect shot "haha take that you invasive species"

The humans fell back into the trap and their forces continued to go down. The Guardians were making progress and soon the humans were out of the Ancient Beech Forest.
Chace turns to Aspen, "Is there anything I can do to return the favor?" Ze heads to the wounded and offers them aid and support.

Aspen sighed comdiclly "no im the one earning your trust remember" she laughed at Chaces words

Chace Forrest
"Oh. ... that's right." Chace moves through zir forces and encourages zir troops. Ze has a catchy positive vibe now that the fighting was done. "You can still earn my trust and let me return the favor."

Aspen

"no need to return the favor just relax and im here to help with anything and i mean ANYTHING you need" aspen smiles and absorbes soe of Chace's positive outlook

Chace Forrest
"What if I need to know a way to repay you?" Chace teases, bumping Aspen's shoulder in a friendly manner. Then, ze drops it, knowing that if ze keeps it up ze will only become annoying. Ze probably had pushed the subject too much already.
"Well, since you're here to help with anything..." Chace's eyes gleam with a hint of mischief, "Are you up to doing my chores and other mundane tasks?" Chace believes that 'help' doesn't mean the other person does it all for you, but the way ze offers the jobs for Aspen makes it seem like ze expects her to do it all herself.

Aspen grins at Chaces words "now i would LOVE to help beleive me but.... im not the best at what do the humans call it "house work" but i'll try my best" Aspen sumons a book of chores and recipes and gets ready to study

Twitch (link to his character and the other NewBorn characters that're bound to pop up eventually)
Silence follows the battle that has left the area Twitch had been left for dead. He slowly comes to his senses, the first being hearing and pain. Twitch bites his lip as he opens his eyes and looks around. Couldn't pain be the last thing to come back? He thinks to himself. The coast seemed generally clear. The fighting had died down. Twitch releases his breath and rolls onto his back, grasping his injured shoulder. The blood was sticky, half dried, but still tricking out of the wound.
"Ouch." He mumbles and crunches up to a sitting position. He begins to shake the dirt out of his wings as he stands but a sudden spark of acute pain shoots along his wings so he stops moving them. Twitch takes a deep breath and gauges his surroundings. A small grin shows as he looks at the chaos around him. His mission had been a success, it looked like. He had successfully led the humans side back into a trap.
"Twitch!" The call startles the winged NewBorn, causing him to spread his wings wide as a show of dominance and control. That, obviously, did not work and he ends up hugging his injured wing close to his side as he watches the other NewBorn race towards him. The only reason Twitch doesn't lunge for a weapon and shoot the NewBorn down is because it is Hatch.
Hatch was another fellow Renegade NewBorn, the leader of the group Twitch belonged to, actually. His blonde hair had streaks of dark red (blood, probably), and his golden eyes kept scanning the surrounding areas for danger as he ran through the fairly open land.
Twitch begins to look for a weapon once he realizes that Hatch is slowing down only to fire back at whatever is chasing him.
"We gotta go, Twitch. They're hunting us down." Hatch examines the area he had come from, waiting for the enemy to show up.
"Shooting back at them isn't going to help." Twitch soon realizes he won't be able to use the gun and fly above Hatch to offer air support anyway. He lets the gun rest at his side and stands his ground. "And by us, you mean yourself, correct? I've got a good relationship with the folk around here. They won't hurt me. I can vouch for you."
Hatch looks back to where the guards of the Ancient Beech Forest were coming from. Then he nods. "Alright. Let me know when it's safe to confront them or, if it isn't, you throw them off my trail."
Twitch chews on his bottom lip as the other NewBorn dashes off. As soon as Hatch disappears, Kella and her patrol group (who was scanning the area for any human force survivors) come into Twitch's view. Twitch drops the gun and holds up his hands to show that he is unarmed, calling out that he was an ally to the Guardians' cause.

Chace
"Or," Chace looks over Aspens shoulder and examines the book of chores, "I can teach you tips and tricks while we go along knocking out different things to do. Besides, I can't let you do all the work yourself." Ze looks up when a couple of her guards led by Kella, a close friend of zir, come close, holding a quivering, winged NewBorn (Twitch) between them.
Chace can't help but eye the NewBorn with disdain. What horrid thing was it? It was neither human nor a bird. It was a mistake, and a very disturbing one at that. NewBorns, no matter what species, are simply inferior to the Guardians and original inhabitants of the Forests. Ze lifts zir chin a bit higher and refuses to acknowledge the NewBorn's presence.
"What is your verdict on what to do with the NewBorn prisoners and, or, Human prisoners?" Kella inquires.
Chace blocks out the cries of the frustrated NewBorn, who keeps repeating that it wasn't the enemy, that it had helped defeat the human troops it was found with, that it just wanted to go back home. Ze shuts down zir emotions, having to make a choice that is good for zir people, not for this single NewBorn. "Lock them all up, NewBorn and Human. See what information you can get out of them. Use any means necessary; we need them to talk. We need to make sure we know their plans so we can protect our Forest." And the other Forests, ze adds to zirself.

Aspen

"Thank you so much" Aspen remarks with a smile to her face. When Chace's guard approach's with a creature she is hit with a pang of sorrow and pity. Then Chace does something quite saddening. Ze locks up the creature as the guard starts' to turn aspen yelps out a cry "wait please.. no its just a creature it is unable to know its wrong doings please cant you see how mistreated this child is?"
