Reaper unleashed a growl from behind Zero, "What are you doing here?" He had his scythe, Earthshaker fully extended and aimed at Zero.




Selkie looks around the area, Locke are you sure this is Starlight's home? Shouldn't we have seen her by now?
Heavy footsteps could be heard in the distance, and they became quicker as they got nearer. Garghoul looks at them, "You three are new. What are your names and your business here?"

Zero folded his ears back. So much for not getting caught off guard. He huffed, holding up his hands and turning to face the other. "Take it easy, I have no quarrel with any of you. All I want is information." He calmly returned, deciding to just get straight to the point.

"Ah, ye say that like Ah've steered ye wrong." Locke sighed in response to Selkie. He inclined his head in respect as Garghoul approached. "G'afternoon. Tha name's Locke Tripwhisker, an' these two be Kaladin of Angel Island an' Selkie Waverider. We're seekin' an audience with Lady Starlight. This would be where her spirit resides, aye?"

Garghoul looks at Locke tripping slightly from the shock, "You said Captain Lock Tripwhisker, Doctor Kaladin of Angel Island and Captain Selkie Waverider? Yes, Starlight does live here, and you have no idea how many times she has told me your names."
"Was she angry," Selkie asks.
"More like longing to see all of you again, especially Selkie," Garghoul responds.
Selkie blushes.
"That answers that question," Garghoul mutters, "Would you like me to ask if she would like to see you?"
Selkie nods once, "Please."
Garghoul nods before turning back and going into the keep.


Reaper knows not to trust Zero, but he was willing to make a deal if it defeated Void, "What kind of information?"

"I'm looking for a Masashi Oh, the former owner of the Garden Press," Zero responded. "Suspected for murder among other things, but he's been off the radar for years. The trail's gone cold, but I've been told that you may be able to offer a fresh lead."

"Told ye so," Locke said with a light chuckle. Kaladin smiled a bit.

Reaper looks at Zero, "Give me one good reason I should help you. I'm being merciful right now by not taking your head or turning you in. But your source did hear correctly I do know a bit about Masashi Oh. I have a question though, is this about the village in Press Gardens that was eradicated by Masashi Oh?"



Selkie smiles before looking at Kaladin, "Would you mind going first? I really don't know how Starlight would react to my presence."

"That is likely. I didn't ask," Zero calmly replied. "Or perhaps it's simply bad blood. I don't question the intents of my clients, I only deliver. Although, given the fact that you're connecting the two inccidents, that tells me that you've already formed an oppinoin on the matter. Do you think it was his doing?"

"I'm sure she'd be overjoyed," Kaladin tried to encourage, but went ahead regardless. Locke stayed beside Selkie, ears twitching thoughtfully.

Reaper looks around, "We should go elsewhere to talk. If my pack sees you, you're dead and so am I for helping you. From what I know I believe that the village the previous Snow Beast was protecting was poisoned by Oh. Then again I don't have all the facts."


Selkie stays behind fidgeting slightly. He was eager to see Starlight but didn't want to press her.

Starlight smiles when she hears Kaladin approach, "Kaladin? Is that really you?"

"Then by all means, lead on," Zero returned, swishing his tail.

Kaladin smiled as well. "...It's been a long time, hasn't it Starlight?" He softly greeted, going over to her.

Reaper leads Zero into a small patch of their forest, "Yes I know we are still on my pack's territory, but the patrol won't be coming for a while. Tell me what you already know that way I'm not repeating information."



"Yes, it has been a very long time. How have you been?" Starlight asks hopefully, "Did anyone else travel with you?"

Kaladin smiled. "I've been as well as a. spirit can, I suppose! I just have some old friends along... They're excited to see you again as well,"
