"Did you know the Press expanded within the last twenty years," Lady Winter asks, "The mobian who owned the Press before you destroy Geoffrey's village and murdered my husband, Vincent."
Geoffrey shifts slightly trying to look away, fear and sorrow marking his face.

(I'm makin' some of this up as I go, too, so bare with me here.)

"... I have heard of the expansion, yes." Sakura replied truthfully. "I had no personal connection with the former owner, however; I was merely his sucessor by company nomination and election. Masashi Oh was his name. He certianally lived up to it..." She glanced up at Mama Winter. "And I knew of the... colateral damage caused by the expansion. But murder? No. I know nothing of that."

"No because it was ruled an accident by the police and the Press covered it up. As Geoffroy can attest the expansion was developed over his village. Vincent was the protector of that village and tried to negotiate with Masashi Oh to expand elsewhere. As you can guess Masashi disagreed. We have no proof but my husband, my Vincent was building a case against Masashi for poisoning the water which made several of the villagers ill. It also caused several of the families to move out of the area including Neva's family. I assume you know who Neva is being that you know Kini. Vincent was close, I still have the documents if you need proof but unfortunately it doesn't lead to Masashi. Vincent tried to talk to Masashi multiple times only to be turned away while the village was dying. How would you feel if you were the protector of that village and it was being destroyed? My husband felt it ten times worse. He had grown up in that village and the only mercy that happened after his death is that he never saw it developed."

At this Geoffroy nods solemnly.

"Unfortunately, nothing ever came of the Oh case, Mrs. Winter," Sakura sighed.

"If you'd like, I'd be willing to read the case files to see if they hold any water. I'm not resposible for Masashi's actions, but I'd be willing to see if I can help you confirm. I'd also be willing to provide some sort of compensation for the displaced, if possible.

However, if Vincient's death was in fact a murder that was covered up by the Press, I would have been the first to know. If you're still convinced that he Masashi was responsible, let me assure you now that I am not the person keeping that information from the public. I lack any sort of concrete evidence for that, and appearently, the police did as well. If what you say is true, it's more than likely that Masashi covered it himself."

"All of that said," Sakura noted, "I realized before coming here that this wouldn't be a mere 'tour'. But why bring this to my attention fifteen years after the fact? There's something you want from me, isn't there?"

(I love how this RP just became a crime drama, XD Anyways I'm doodling a bunch of charathers. Got Sakura, Kini, Tolka, Joe, and Ajal. Anyone else you wanna see?)

Winter's tail lashes making Geoffrey step back, "I want justice Ms. Sakura. If you're willing to help me find the truth like I've been trying to do for the past fifteen years I will leave the Press alone. No amount of compensation will ever change the past so please don't mention it again."

Geoffrey coughs, "Most of the families have stable finances through a trust fund that the Winter clan set up several years ago. Though the trauma on the other hand is less easy to handle. I'd hate to bring it up with the families again."

"Very well than Ms. Sakura I'll take your word on the fact that you are not covering up the murder. Would happen to know where Oh is? I'd like to interrogate him myself since I was unable to."

"I'll make sure it doesn't get out of hand," Geoffrey adds.

(Since this case involves Geoffrey and Mrs. Winter would you be willing to try to draw one of them maybe too?)

(Yeah! I had an old design for Mrs. Winter from when Sonic first encountered her that I can base it off of. Fun fact, first time I doodled her, I didn't know she was a snow leopard, so I made her a lynx.)

Sakura shook her head slightly. "Unfortunately, no. He broke contact with the company upon his retirement. I could root around, though."

"I would apricate it Ms. Sakura. Do you have any questions. They can be anything you want to ask me about, after all only a handful of outsiders have ever set foot in the citadel and it'd be a shame for you to walk away without a story," Lady Winter responds.

"Well... I did come here expecting a tour." Sakura flashed a slight smile. "I hope you don't mind discussing history."

Lady Winter smiles, "Oh dear I knew I should have grabbed the book about the citadel. Geoffrey would you mind grabbing it please? It's in the library on the second shelf in history of the zone, its a leather-bound book. Be careful with it. Ms. Sakura do you have particular questions?"

Geoffrey nods and leaves to get it and other reference books.

"Not yet, but don't hold your breath," Sakura chuckled.
