(your fine. its just...
im that kind of person that wants to know 100% of what im dealing with. it drives my parents nuts. thats why im asking these questions - because i dont know if its relevant or what. and... well, the focus of them has shifted. before, it was because i was legitamatly curious how this universe worked. but now... well, im dealing with stuff IRL, and i also have a terrible memory. im sorry if i forget stuff, really. i just dont remember the answers to questions, or if i even asked it. and, before you say, im often too busy to scroll through hundreds of posts to answer 1 question.)
he sighed.

(Then have Skullio have forgotten it too. It's a lot less frustrating for me that way, plus it gets your questions re-answers in a way that feels a lot more natural.)
His breath fogs up the ice, making his face hot for a moment. He can hear someone trying to get the door open. It's quite loud, with all this ice coating it and making the door practically immovable.

(that doesnt feel natural for me, though. its... well, i cant explain, but its wrong. its like a barrier or a line i shouldnt cross. memory loss... well, i dont want my characters to deal with that, even for the sake of clarification. sorry if thats unclear.)
he glared.

(He's dealing with entirely unfamiliar cultures for the first time in his whole life. It's not ready like meeting somebody from another culture in the way it is for us humans, because we have at least a vague idea of how things work in other places. Skullio doesn't have that benefit, and he's dealing with stuff that goes way beyond "rice is more major in our diet than in yours and it's a bit warmer here". He's dealing with gods and goddesses, so it wouldn't be that unbelievable to think he might forget the more mundane details.)
Whoever it is manages to crack the door open.

(i understand that, and i try to work with that, but my mindset... well, its out of my control, and its stubborn. it only sees things in confusion.)
he glared.

(I don't know what else to tell you. I suggest finding some way to have him naturally want to re-learn stuff you've forgotten.)
He sees a blade poke through the crack in the door, chipping away at the ice. It's a tawny bronze color- it's not a metal he's seen before, even back in arial where they use metal near constantly.

The door slowly opens. Standing there is a satyr, but... different. Its fur is brown, and it's mostly hairless- his face is human, much like a basilisk's, and no fur covers his hands or arms. His tail is also a lot shorter, and he's less fluffy.

He stares at Skullio, quietly intrigued. He's holding a long, brown sword, which was what Skullio was seeing earlier. It's made from bronze and copper, though Skullio's never seen either metal so he wouldn't know that. His clothing is rugged and unlike any modern clothes he's seen- the guy is dressed like he's from 600 years ago.
