She was breathing heavily for the work of her little legs through the thick grass and tried to smile to him,but the blue deepened. "Just...mama."

Ash studied her for a moment. He didn't want to ask about her mom, it would probably just hurt her even more. "Do you miss her?" He asked, already knowing the answer to that question

She looked down,shaking her little head. "No...she didn't want me." She then smiled to him again,the blue fading slowly. "But now I have you and Shada. Shada keep me fwom Moon Fewlds,and things awe good.You nice toow,so I happy!" She said,clapping her little talons together.

Her mother had put her in the Moon Fields,as the royal hatchers had put Jason in the Moon Fields,knowing what he would be.

Turns out, he didn't know the answer to that question. "Oh. Okay..." He smiled at her, but it was forced. He hoped she wouldn't notice. He set her down. "Better start running again!"

She almost did but as he said to start running she giggled and spun around and began running as fast as she could but it was hard still. She used her wings only to keep going when her little legs got tired.

He followed, basically just walking after her, pretending like it took a lot out of him for her benefit.

She glanced back and believed it and it made her feel a bit better,made her feel she wasn't to slow. She giggled and swerved behind a green crystal,hiding even though it was practically transparent despite it's soft coloring.

"Hmm...where did she go?" He asked, looking around

She put her little talons to her tiny snout and stifled a soft giggle,pulling her wings close and curling up in the grass but her little tail stuck out of the long tuffet of grass she tried to hide in. It twitched.

"Hmm...could that tail belong to Crysta?" He began to stalk towards the tail
