"we were trying to escape and we got past the gates when i tripped the alarm and alot of guards showed up, we killed most of them and....." she looks kinda said " one of the creatures traveling with us died, she was so young like me i-i just wished we could have saved everyone!" she starts to cry.

Lyra draws Luca close, and gently licks her hair in a comforting way, whispering, "It wasn't your fault."

" not all of them are cults. Some are the government, some are weird collectors, evil scientists, to many to count. Luckily, I get the privilege of only the very worst remembering takers."
